I must admit that it was pretty wagamama of me to ask for ramen 
when I knew somebody wanted to eat fried rice. 
However, in any case, the chashu my wife made was absolutely, definitely the best I have ever had. 
Juicy, flavorful, just the right texture. I can't wait to eat it again. 
Maybe next time with fried rice. . .
