中国語対面レッスン

新生NOVAのHPで、いつの間にか関西圏に中国語開催校が7校も。

ひょえーっ、大阪だけで5校もあるぅー。　旧NOVAよりも多いよ。

関西圏に乱立してるということは、首都圏にも飛び火することが充分期待できますかね　　先日、確認だけでしたが池袋西口校に連絡したら、中国語VOICEはまだですって。予定すらないとのこと。

頑張って行ける範囲で対面レッスンが開講したら、受講を考えよう。

オンラインと対面は、全然違いますからね。

VOICE4回目

先週、VOICEに行ってきました。ひと月に2回行くのは初めてです。って、まだ4回目ですが・・・。今回初めて、VOICEのために出かけました。バスで45分くらいかかりました。　遠すぎる。

今回、初めて4コマ受けたのですが、発言はするものの相変わらず文章にならない。複文になったら、もうダメですね。単語もよく分からないものや忘れたものもあって、しどろもどろ・・・。

やっぱ、復習しないとあきまへんね。

最寄校も整理

本日、旧NOVAで閉鎖中の最寄校の近くに寄ったら、完全に板で覆われていました。ここは、優良ブランチだったらしいですけど、もう再開の道は完全に閉ざされました。

これで、私もレギュラーレッスンが取れないどころか、MM(中国語)も取れなくなりました。あとは、G社の塾でMMレッスンを行うかどうかですね。しかし、MM始まっても、金額が高いから、オンラインレッスンだけになりそうですね。まだ、オンラインレッスンは始めていませんが・・・。

報道単語の第5弾です。

今回は、ランキング30程度の間に、知らなかった単語がいっぱいでした。知っている単語は、trigger と hedge くらいでしたね。しかし、複数の意味全て知っているわけではないので、語彙力全然ないってことですよね。

報道単語-Part4

報道単語の第4弾です。

今回は、ランキング20程度の間に、分からなかったり、記憶が疑わしい単語がいっぱいあったなぁ。fraud〔詐欺(罪)、詐欺(師)〕 なんて、何回も出てきた単語なのに、全然忘れていました。bureau や intention もなんとなく分かっていたのですが、はっきりしなかったです。要は、日本語にすると、事務所 と 意志　みたいになるのですが、英語で意味を書くと以下のようになるんですね。

VOICE3回目

先日、出張の帰りにVOICEへ行きました。3ヶ月でようやく3回目です。最後3コマ受けたのですが、3人→4人→4人でした。常連みたいな人はいなく、良かったと思います。　　しかし、文章が少し長くなると、うまく話せなくなるなぁ。

もう少しガンガンに通わなければダメなのですが、やっぱ遠いので何かのついでにってなってしまいますね。

今度は4月上旬に東京に行くため、そこでVOICE受けようと考えていますが、その前に1回くらい行きたいですね。しかし、ちょっと無理かなぁ。

TOEIC攻略本学習再開

英語は、聞けて話せる方が断然重要なのですが、TOEICの勉強もしなければなりません。TOEICは、点数が良くなれば、ボキャブラリーと速読はできるようになるだろういうことで、頑張りたいと思います。

 

以前、下記の本を衝動買いしたのですが、昨年のテスト前に少しやって、その後、そのままになっています。

"スコアが上がりやすい順に学ぶ"　なんて分かりやすい本なんでしょう。未だかつてこんな共感できる本に出会ったことがありません。

できなくても、確率的に正解をどう選ぶかがふんだんに書かれています。英会話力は関係ありません。

　    

取り敢えず、Part2から始めよう。

私は記憶力が悪いので、選択肢を聞いているうちに、質問を忘れることが多々あります。集中力のキープの練習もしなければですね。

多言語あるじゃん。

新生NOVAは多言語やらないと思っていたのですが、よくよく見たら多言語開催校ありますね。

しかし、フランス語(4校)、中国・ドイツ語(各2校)って、中国語って人気あるんじゃなかったの!?　講師の確保のしやすさから、もっと展開してもいいんじゃないと思うのですが・・・。

中国語があるということは、VOICEもあるんですかね

昨年、中国語VOICEに行きそこなったので、あれば一度は体験してみたいですね。

その前に、オンライン中国語も始めなければ・・・。

報道単語-Part3

報道単語の第3弾です。

日本語で意味を書くと、単語を見ても日本語が目に入るために、瞬間的に意味が分かり、分かっていないことが気付きにくい、英語で意味を書くと、単語を見ても英訳の意味がすぐには分からないため、分かっていない単語が認識できますね。

英訳を読んで意味を思い出すことができます。 この方法は、結構いいのかも。

1817のeliteエリート、1813のarenaアリーナは、日本語と大体同じ意味ですが、英英辞典では、分からなかったなぁ。英和辞典で日本語の意味を把握してから、英訳しました。
本当は、英英辞書で意味が分からなければいけないんですけどね。

旧所属ブランチ消滅

先回の日曜日、旧NOVAの所属ブランチの前を通ったら、木の板の壁で中が完全に見えなくなっていました。とうとう消滅です。「潰すんならカルテくれ～」と思いながら、別側にある入口を見たら、こちらは板の壁がなく、中がまだそのままでイスが乱雑に倒されているのが見えました。

企業が破産すると、誰も片付けてくれないんですね。

旧NOVAの最寄ブランチは、最近どうなったか見てないなぁ。ここが片付けられると、もうレッスンは受けられません。新生NOVAでは、VOICEチケット持っているけど、まだ2回(計6コマ)しか受けていません。　来週、出張があるので、その時に立ち寄ろうと思いますが、開催時間が限られているため、事前に調べて行かなくてはなりません。最低3コマ、もしくは最後まで頑張れるかな

報道単語を調べました。

結構忘れた単語ってあるもんです。しかし、英英辞典は調べにくいです。presidency，widespread，publisher，inspector　なんてどのオンライン辞書も派生語で説明していますからね。

TOEICプラスマガジン　200年1月号に「報道キーワード　2000+」というのがありました。頻出順に2037単語掲載されています。

ちなみに、

第1位は　have
第2位は　say
第3位は　back

でした。　

2037単語のうち、ほとんどの単語で少なくとも1つの意味は知っているものですが、知らないもの、うろ覚えのものもあるので、英英辞典を使って意味を調べました。少しづつやっていこう。

最初は、簡単な単語ばかりだから、下位から調べよう。

下位になると、忘れていたor勘違いしていた単語って結構あるもんですね。次は、1886-1959位を確認していく予定です。 

英英辞典

単語は、英英辞典で調べる方がいいみたいです。

この単語を選んだ深い意味はないんですが、intermediate(adj;形容詞)を調べてみました。

 

有名なロングマンのオンライン辞書です。

これまた有名なオックスフォードのオンライン辞書。

今回は、オックスフォードの勝ちですね。

 

ちなみに私の電子辞書の英英辞典は、オックスフォードです。

TECCのレベル

TECCの参考書として、『ビタミンTECC』という本を買い、少し様子を見てみました。

なんとぉ、問題の説明が日本語。中国語ではないのです。

TOEICは、問題の説明も英語なのに。

模擬試験も一通りついていますが、初級者向けの解説本であるためと思いますが、簡単過ぎないかと思うほどです(もちろんできるわけではないですが)。過去問題集で今度確認してみよう。

しかし、基本的な文章が載っているため、文章作成に参考にはなると思います。
