報道単語-Part4

報道単語の第4弾です。

今回は、ランキング20程度の間に、分からなかったり、記憶が疑わしい単語がいっぱいあったなぁ。fraud〔詐欺(罪)、詐欺(師)〕 なんて、何回も出てきた単語なのに、全然忘れていました。bureau や intention もなんとなく分かっていたのですが、はっきりしなかったです。要は、日本語にすると、事務所 と 意志　みたいになるのですが、英語で意味を書くと以下のようになるんですね。 

1806 crucial      having the power or quality of deciding
1804 suspicion  a feeling that sb has done sth wrong, even though you have no proof
1804 bureau      an office that provides information
1798 ultimately finally; in the end
1798 intention   an act of determining mentally upon some action
1789 otherwise  or else; if not
1787 testimony  something that serves as evidence
1787 excution    the act of doing a piece of work, performing a duty, or putting a plan into action
1786 fraud      1 the crime of decieving sb to get money or goods illegally
                        2 a person who makes deceitful pretenses

VOICE3回目

先日、出張の帰りにVOICEへ行きました。3ヶ月でようやく3回目です。最後3コマ受けたのですが、3人→4人→4人でした。常連みたいな人はいなく、良かったと思います。　　しかし、文章が少し長くなると、うまく話せなくなるなぁ。

もう少しガンガンに通わなければダメなのですが、やっぱ遠いので何かのついでにってなってしまいますね。

今度は4月上旬に東京に行くため、そこでVOICE受けようと考えていますが、その前に1回くらい行きたいですね。しかし、ちょっと無理かなぁ。
