金魚瓶【水景工房】

イタリアの条例では金魚鉢で金魚を飼うのを禁止しているんだとか。
「金魚鉢は丸い形をしているため、その中に入れられている金魚の目には外の景色が歪んで見え、実際とは違った形を見せることになるから」だそうです。外から見ると美しい金魚鉢ですが、魚にとってはストレスになるんでしょうかねぇ。子供が縁日で取ってきた金魚をウチでは瓶に入れて飼っております。昔金魚といえば、「らんちう」だ「流金」だの云っておりましたが、今は地味な和金がいいですねぇ。

追記：2011/10/02　酸素量から考えると金魚１匹に必要な水はだいたい約4ℓらしい。ちょうどこの瓶のサイズで2匹の住処としては小さいことが判ったので、エアーコンプレッサーと濾過器を導入。少々ウルサくなったが、まぁ魚のためである。。と思ったのもつかの間、小さい和金が突然エサを食べなくなった。なんかお腹まわりがふくれている、体の姿勢制御ができない、しばらく観察していたら、フッと逝ってしまった。暫くは１匹で飼育してましたが、やっぱり寂しかろうと。。お店に確認したら、エアを入れていれば問題ないでしょうとのこと、息子と一緒に水槽の掃除人（タニシ）と小さくて元気のいい和金を１匹買ってきた。ところが、目を離した隙に瓶の外に飛び出してしまい、発見したときには干物一歩手前状態でした。目がわずかに動いた気がして、ひょっとしてと思い、水に戻してあげたらエラがゆっくり動き始め、なんと復活！暫くすると元気に泳ぎ始めました。奇跡をみた気がしましたねぇ。しかし、やはりというべきか、その後長生きすることはできませんでした。。一匹を気遣うように寄り添う姿が健気で泣けました、、

追記：2013/05/05 金魚鉢が手狭になってきたので、深さのある鉢にリニューアル。容量は2.5倍近くなったかも。小さい水槽だと大きくならないと聞いていたんですが、いやいやなんの。。もともとビッグヘッドな風貌でしたが、ヒトが近づくとエサをねだって立ち泳ぎする様が妙に愛らしく、、でもあげすぎには注意ですな。。近所の金魚の達人によると、通常は７分目、冬場は動かないのでほとんどあげなくても大丈夫とのことです。

2年間連れ添ったワキンが亡くなりました。。ただただ悲しいです。
