熊本 Kumamoto 着物着付師資格認定証 授与式

Just landed in kumamoto.
山野流着装　西日本支部　着物着付師資格認定証　授与式の為に熊本へ来ました。
今ホテルに到着したところです。

福岡 上級着物着付の集い 本番

いよいよ上級着物着付の集い講習当日。
昨日現地入りしてモデルのオーディションやステージセッティングを行い、
当日は朝7時半からモデルのヘア・メイク・着付等の準備を開始して本番にのぞみました。

Our captive audience of Jyokyu kitsuke shi. 会場においでになった皆様。
Mr. Ideguchi Rijicho.　井手口理事長のスピーチで始まりました。
　　
Moment of silence for former Chairman, Mr. Shiraishi who had invited me to come a
few years ago.Shiraishi zen-rijicho was with us in spirit and it was thanks to him that
this day was possible.何年か前からこのイベントへご招待下さっていた白石前理事長の
ご冥福を祈って黙祷が捧げられました。この日の実現を可能にして下さった白石前理事長
もステージを見守って下さっていたと思います。
　
講習ではオープニングのビデオとスピーチに続いて、振袖・訪問着のメイクアップとヘア
スタイルの実演、車椅子利用者への着付、そして最後はわずか15分の間に白無垢から
赤打ち掛け、スパンコールの華やかな振袖、そしてウエディングドレスへと次々に変わる
山野流花嫁クイックチェンジを行いました。
Starting off the program with a demonstration of make-up demo with our model and
Sato-sensei as my assistant. まず最初はステージでメイクアップのデモンストレーション
を行いました。アシスタントは佐藤先生です。
　
Continuation of the show and we see the kimonos from this year's "Just Smile"
Collection. We were so fortunate to have beautiful models!
モデルが着ている着物は今年のテーマ"ジャスト　スマイル"に沿って私がデザインした
ものです。とても綺麗なモデルに恵まれてステージが華やかになりました!
Next we had a demonstartion of dressing one in a wheelchair with Aoki-sensei as my
assistant. 次に車椅子利用者への着付実演を行いましたアシスタントは青木先生です。

花嫁クイックチェンジの写真はこの時スタン（私たちのカメラマン）が音響のサポートに
入っていたので残念ながらありません。

out to help us back stage, the beautiful models and the wonderful audience!!

そして暖かい拍手で迎えて下さった聴衆の皆様本当にありがとうございました!!
It was a real pleasure to be in Fukuoka for the Biyo Sekatsu Eisei Dogyo
Kumiai no Jyokyusha Kitsuke no Tsudoi.
今回美容生活衛生同業組合、上級者着付の集いに参加できたことを心より
感謝しています。
After the program we were invited for lunch.

I should have brought my running shoes as we had to pack everything
up and 'run' to the airport as we needed to get back to Tokyo for the
Yumi Katsura Grand Collection 2006! 
この日は休む間もなく、桂由美グランドコレクション2006のリハーサルの為に
すぐに東京へ戻らなければならず、全ての荷物を詰め込み、空港まで走って
ぎりぎり飛行機に間に合う事ができました。
あまりに急いだので、運動靴を持って来れば良かったと思ったほどです!

He likes to sit on the side he can see them and is disappointed
when we are on the other side.
この写真はスタンが整備士に向かって手を振っている所です。彼は窓側に座って
整備士の仕事を見るのが好きで、反対側に座ってしまうととてもがっかりします。
　
Good Bye Fukuoka!!　福岡空港を立つ前、最後の景色です。

  This is the only luggage I brought back from Fukuoka!!  
because those who know me well, know this would be impossible!!  
Thank goodness for 'takkubin' !!!! (great door to door delivery service in Japan.)
今回福岡から持って帰ってきた荷物はこれだけです!!　
私を良く知っている人は冗談だとすぐに分かったと思います!!
残りは全て宅急便で送りました!!!

福岡 上級者着物の集い 準備編

Another short weekendSunday今週も短い週末でした。
19日日曜日―福岡県美容生活衛生同業組合主催で20日に行われた
「上級者着付の集い」で講習を行う為に福岡へ飛びました。

This is the beginning of a LONG day!! (and even a longer day tomorrow!!)
出発前ロビーにて:同行した畑中先生、佐藤先生と青木先生です。
「笑顔でお願いします!!」長い今日一日と、更に長い明日の始まりです!!
 

Heh look at that we get to ride the pokemon plane today!! 
Have to enjoy it from the outside!
今回の飛行機はポケモン飛行機でした!! 外側から楽しまないと、と思って写真を撮りました!
 

Upon arrival at Fukuoka we all were SO  HUNGRY!!
So we had a little time to run upstairs and eat some Hakata Tonkotsu
ramen and gyoza! Looks good?  It was and hit the spot!

お昼も食べずに準備等に追われていたので、福岡に着いた時にはお腹がとても
すいていました!! そこで、急いで2階のレストランへ上がってとんこつラーメンと
餃子を食べました! 美味しそうでしょ？期待通りとても美味しくてお腹一杯になりました!

Upon arrival we checked in the hotel and had a model audition for our
show in the morning.I thought we were going to see about 5 models, but we had
about 20 to choose from and unfortunately I only needed 2!!
(Unfortunately we can't show you the pictures of the models for their rights.)
ホテル到着後すぐに明日のショーのモデルオーディションを行いました。
2名のモデルを選ぶのに、5名くらいのモデルのオーディションを行う予定でいたのですが、
会場に入ったら20人くらいのモデルが集まっていてびっくりしました!!　
モデルの写真は肖像権があるのでお見せできませんが写真左下はオーディション風景です。
　

Then it was off to dinner and celebrated our "Valentine Boy's" Birthday!! (a little belated) 
その後夕食にでかけ、少し遅くなりましたが“バレンタインボーイのお誕生日会”をしました!!

Yes, we ate AGAIN and now it's off to work!
It's 9:00 pm and we are starting our set up for tomorrow,
and coordinating with the sound and hotel people!
さあ、仕事に戻ります。現在時刻は夜9時。会場の都合でこの時間から
次の日のショーの準備、音響やホテルの方達とのリハーサルに入りました。
 

Any type of kimono show is a lot of work. The preparationbefore, during and
after is all very important.  Here's a look into the dressing room. From now we
have to take everything out, organize it and iron the wrinkles out of everything!
Smile!  I'm so lucky to have such hard working people around me!
着物ショーを行う時にはどんな時でも沢山の時間を要します。
事前の準備、使い方、しまい方どれも大変重要です。
この写真は楽屋の様子です。これから全ての荷物を取り出し、
整理して使いやすい順番に配置し、全てにアイロンをかけます!
私は労力を惜しまず頑張ってくれるスタッフに恵まれ、本当に幸福だと思っています。

Meanwhile, back in the ballroomstill trying to work out the details...
the clock is ticking and it is getting close to 11:00pm.
左下は次の日のショーの準備をしている所です。(必要な物は全部そろっているかしら・・・）
同じ頃、会場では詳細の確認が行われていて、時計は夜11時をまわる頃でした。
　

Still smiling as everything starts to fall into place. One last check as it's getting very
late now. Thank you Imamurasan for stepping in as our director!
全ての準備が整い始めた深夜、まだ笑顔で頑張っています。時間が過ぎていく中、最後の
チェックを行いました。
今回ディレクターを引き受けて下さった今村さん、ありがとうございました!
　
部屋に戻ってからはスピーチと講習内容の最終確認をし、就寝は2時を回っていたと

北海道 着物着付師資格認定証 授与式

 
Congratulations to all the okuden teachers, hanayome kitsuke shi,
Career-Up teachers and “sensu jyuyo’ teachers!
We really enjoyed our stay in Hokkaido and
send our best wishes to you all. 

The party of close to 500 people always has a
“WOW” effect on me over the many years.
From when I first went with my grandmother Aiko Yamano
and walked into ball room at the Keio Plaza Hotel in Sapporo
I’m still always so honored and surprised at how many loyal
Yamano Ryu members, family and friends gather.
I’m glad that I had a voice to speak with this year and
not to worry I’m back in Tokyo and very ‘genki’.

奥伝講師（着物着付師）資格取得をされた先生方、
花嫁着付師の資格取得をされた先生方、また、
昇格して扇子を授与された先生方おめでとうございます！
北海道では本当に楽しい時を過ごせた事を皆様一人一人に感謝致します。
毎年500名近くが参加するパーティー会場へ入る時は、毎回新鮮に驚いてしまいます。
何年も前に、祖母山野愛子と初めて会場の札幌京王プラザホテルの
宴会場に入った時から、今でも、沢山の山野流着装の先生方とその
ご家族、お友達が集まっている事を大変誇りに思っています。
去年は風邪を引いていましたが、今年は皆様とお話できる声もあり、
元気に東京に戻る事ができました。

名古屋 着物着付師資格認定証 授与式

          
It was very nice to see all the Yamano Ryu teachers,
welcome new okuden teachers and hanayome kitsukeshi.
I hope that all the students that attended from
Aiichi Biyo Gakko did great on their state board exam!!
Congratulations to all 94 members and a
big thank you to all the teachers who helped them get there.
I’m sorry I had to leave early, but so happy that
I was able to make it for the dentatsushiki.

名古屋で行われた、きものスタイリスト(着物着付師）
伝達式（資格認定証授与式）に出席してきました。
沢山の山野流着装の先生方に会えてとても嬉しかったです。
新しく資格を取得したきものスタイリスト(着物着付師）の皆様、
花嫁着付師の皆様おめでとうございます。
愛知美容専門学校からも沢山の生徒が出席していましたが、
国家試験はどうでしたか？
資格を取得された方にお祝いを言うのと同時に、
この資格を取得する為に、生徒を教え、支えて下さった
全ての先生方にお礼を言いたいと思います。
短い時間で残念でしたが、皆様にお会いでき、
伝達式に出席できて本当に嬉しかったです。
