先日、JCIカトマンズ ネパールの会長スーマン氏と大阪でお会いしました。
ネパール大震災から1年４ヵ月。被災地の子どもたちやその家族たちは、まだ多くの支援を必要としています。
160万人の子どもたちが通う学校の中には、今だ仮設教室で授業を受ける公立学校もあり、JCIカトマンズ ネパールではそんな学校の再建に尽力されておられるそうです。
現在は、カトマンズから北へ10kmにある、Dharmasthali(ダルマスタリ)地区の公立学校(ダルマビッラアスラム)の再建にあたっており、120名ほどの学校に教員は4名(内2名はパート)。地震発生時は壊滅状態で、現在はトタン屋根の下に机・椅子を並べ授業をし文具品も不足。
そこで、少しでもチカラになればと、文房具を集めて届けたいと思います。

Shortage of stationary for Nepalese children
Recently we met the president of JCI Kathmandu Mr. Suman in Osaka.
It has been 16 months since the massive Nepalese earthquake.
Plenty of children and their families still need a lot of support.
In Nepal 1.6 million children go to school, some of them still study in temporary schools.
JCI Kathmandu works to rebuild such destroyed schools.
Now they are reconstructing a public primary school in Dharmasthali which is 10 km away to the north from Kathmandu.
There are 1.2 hundred students and only 4 teachers(including 2 part time workers)
That school was totally destroyed by earthquake and now there are only desks and chairs under a tent and they have few stationary.
So we will collect and deliver stationary to the school.
We need:
Pencils / colored pencils / Pens / highlighters / Erasers / notebooks

Pencil bags or cases / Glue
※Used items in good condition or New
