From Kyoto to Nara, I took JR 's rapid train recently. I fell asleep on the way, but when I noticed, there was a foreign woman in the neighbor.
She was absorbed in the smartphone, so I did not speak to her. Nara station was approaching. She asked me, with a smile, "People in Japan, many people sleep when they get on the train." I answered, "This is a Japanese habit, no, it may be a culture." She smiled again.
