運指やポジションに関する考察などを記す

ここのディミニッシュスケールはスタジオ盤とライブ盤でこのように違っている
Here's how the diminished scale differs between the studio version and the live version
特に大きな違いはないので弾きやすい方を選択すればよいかと、、
A：今はせわしないけどその後少し楽になるポジショニング
Positioning that makes it a little easier later
B：今は楽だけどその後移動距離があるポジショニング
Positioning that moves farther later

【ex.2】～１回目のソロ
アタマのクロマチック4連発からの21Fへのスライドが難関
The slide part from chromatic to 21st fret is a difficult part.
普通に弾くと16/1-17/1-18/1-19/1-21/1は「人-中-薬-小-小」となるが
If you play normally, the fingering of 16/1-17/1-18/1-19/1-21/1 will be "person-medium-medicine-small-small",
この流れで小指のスライドは少々きついと思い、動画ではアタマの16/1-17/1を人差し指のスライドで対処して
薬指で21Fへスライドできるように工夫してみた
It is difficult to slide with the little finger in this flow
In the video, by making 16/1-17/1 the index finger slide, the ring finger can now slide to the 21st fret.
その他いろいろ弾き方は考えられる、、
そしてそのあとのこだわりポイント、、 ⇩ 16/3にいくか？21/4にいくか？
And the next point ⇩ Should I go to 3 strings 16 frets? Should I go to 4 strings 21 frets?
21/4はハイポジションなので弾きにくい、、
16/3まで下がるとその後の18/3-21/3-19/3へのアプローチが若干遅れる、、
both have their own reasons
そんな感じでここはいつも弾いてる時に”直前”で一瞬迷うポイントでもある
It's the point where I get lost for a moment "just before" when I'm always playing.
【ex.3】
ここはとても和声的な所で、コード進行は
「Amaj7 D9(#11) Gmaj7 C9(#11) Fmaj7 ～」
となっていてそのコードトーンをとても感じられるフレーズだと思う

ここも「どうポジション取りしようか？」・・と地味に長く迷った
Positioning is very important and I get lost
”次にキレイに進めるように、指の動きが自然になるように”・・と考えながら、この３パターン
It's not about whether it's easy to play right now, but it's important to make a choice that will allow you to proceed smoothly next time.
In the end, these three patterns were chosen.
A：21/2に薬指でスライド気味にもってゆくパターン。一番ソロを”弾いてる”感覚が得られるポジショニング
B：6弦ルートのAmaj7コードと5弦ルートのD9(#11)のカタチに沿っている一番”和声的”なポジション
C：16/1～14/1は人差し指で移動。次のGmaj7のポジションのことを考えてのポジショニング
・・ここで迷ったのが「弾きやすさ」ではなくて”書道”のように”余分な力”が入らず
「自然な指の動き」で次につながるかどうか？
16/1の人差し指は「次にどっちに行きたがっているのか？」（上か？下か？）などと
自身の指に”問いかけて”みたりしていた
Where does your index finger on the 16th fret of the 1st string want to go?
・・let's ask the finger！
I think it's important to consider the meaning of each carefully before making a choice.
余談だが「日本の書道の筆の動き」はそんなことを意識しているという話を聞いたことがある
筆が浮いている時の次へ向かう動きがとても大事だという
"Japanese calligraphy brush movement" says that the next movement when the brush is floating is very important.
・・こんな話をすると知り合いは「ど～でもいい！」と言う
・・だが私はこういう話は嫌いではない。むしろ興味深い、、
An acquaintance of mine said, "It doesn't matter!" But I think it's very important.

ここもいろんなポジショニングが考えられる
Various positioning is possible here.
ポイントは
「今弾きやすいポジション」ではなくて
「次につなげやすいポジション」として考えること
I think that the point is not "the position that is easy to play now" but "the position that is easy to connect to next time".

私は動画ではBを選択したがAで14/3までスライドするのも捨てがたい、、
I chose B in the video.But I think it's also good to slide to the 3rd string 14th fret of A.
ちなみにあまりポジションを動かすことが好きじゃない性格の知人はCを選択していた
私はCは”カタチは美しい”が弾くにはあまり向いてないと思った、、
C is "beautiful in shape", but I don't think it's suitable for playing.

CDの正解はAポジションだが私はいつもBポジションで弾いていた（個人的好み）
The correct answer for CDs is the A position, but I always play in the B position.(Personal preference)

ライブヴァージョンでご本人がBポジションで弾かれているのを確認した
他のアーティストさんにもこのようなことはよくあるようで、例えばレコーディング後、ライブを重ねてゆくうちに
別のポジションに定着してゆく（弾きやすさ、好みの変化）という、、
レコーディング時に２つ選択肢があり迷っていたが時間がないのでとりあえずAタイプで録音してみるも
後々やっぱりBタイプの方がいいなぁ・・ということもあるだろう
I confirmed that he was playing in the B position in the live version.
It seems that this kind of thing happens often with other artists, for example, after recording, they settle into a different position as they perform live (changes in playability and preferences).
When I was recording, I had two options and was confused, but I didn't have the time, so I tried recording with type A for now, but later I may decide that type B is better.
この箇所は昔から弾いてるBポジションで動画撮影したが、のちにTAB譜を追加することになり、
その制作時に困ったことが１つあった
I shot a video of this part in the B position, which I have always played, but I decided to add TAB notation later.
There was one problem I had when making it.
それは
「自分の演奏を表記するべきか？」
「原曲の正解を表記するべきか？」
・・ということ

I can't decide between the two.
・・いろいろ悩んだ結果、今回は
原曲が存在しCDに正解の本人演奏が記録として残されているのであれば
「その曲の楽譜にはその正解を表記すべき」という判断からAポジションを採用した
This time
If the original song exists and the CD contains a record of the person performing the correct answer.
The A position was adopted based on the judgment that "the correct answer should be indicated on the music score of the song."
厳密に考えるとこういう問題は何が正解なのか私にはわからない・・
とりあえず「出版される楽譜制作」ではないのでこの件はこれまで
あしからずご了承願います。
Strictly speaking, I don't know what the correct answer is to this kind of problem...
For the time being, this is not ``production of published sheet music'', so I will not discuss this matter until now.

・・・その他「アーティキュレーション」を気にしだすときりがない
There is no end to sticking to "articulation"
例えば”どこをプリング、ハンマリング、スライドにするか？”

つまりその部分はピッキングしないので音はスラーになる
「どこをスラーにしたらいいのか？」というこだわりを始めてしまうときりがない、、
In other words, where do you play slurs? it is important to think about
それによってポジションも変わってくる、、
It also changes the finger position.
アーティキュレーションはとても大切。たとえ上手く表現できなかったとしても
・・せめて考えるて努力はしていきたい（凡人故に）
