『8KHzの功罪 vol.1』の続きです。
まずは、
『ボーカルでサシスセソが歪むのは8KHzが上がっている』
を検証してみます。
音源は次の3種を使用しました。

Amor / 中谷泰子
Standard / TAKE 6
まず、5KHzを6dB上げてみます。
この場合、『サシスセソ』よりも楽器の高域が気になります。
8～10KHzを上げた場合、確かに『サシスセソ』が歪っぽく聴こえます。
これは情報通りです。
12KHzより高い周波数を上げた場合、
音楽というよりは全体の雰囲気が変化します。
増加量は6dBでテストしましたが、
音源によっては、わずか2dBでも大きく変化しました。
『ボーカルでサシスセソが歪むのは8KHzが上がっている』
のは間違いないようです。

First of all, "sa/shi/su/se/so of vocal is distorted when 8kHz is high" is verified.
The sound source used the following three sorts.

First, 6dB up about 5 kHz.
In this case, treble of a musical instrument is a still bigger problem from sa/shi/su/se/so."
In 8-10kHz up, surely "sa/shi/su/se/so" is distorted.
This agrees with information.
When frequency higher than 12 kHz is raised,
Not music but the whole atmosphere changes.
The increase was tested at 6dB.
According to the sound source, at least only 2dB changed a lot.
"sa/shi/su/se/so of vocal is distorted when 8kHz is high" is exact information.
