そこで、6接点のロータリースイッチを使用し
RchとLchに分けて
２つのロータリースイッチで調節することにします。
Rch/Lchを同一音量に調整することは難しそうですが
６ポジションしかありませんので、
問題なく使用できると思います。
回路図です。
減衰量は0dB、-3dB、-6dB、-9dB、-12dB、-15dBとしました。
そのため音量をゼロにすることはできません。

It's controlled by 2 rotary switches.
To adjust Rch/Lch identically seems difficult.
But there are only 6 positions.
You'd be able to use with no problem.
Circuit diagram:
Attenuation :0dB,-3dB,-6dB,-9dB,-12dB and-15dB
Therefore it isn't possible to make the volume a zero.
