Camping Touring: 2024 First Hammock Satoyama Campsite Rice Terrace
前日に荷物のパッキングを済ませ、当日の朝起きて天気と体調と気分で出掛けるかどうか決めることにした。当日は朝、娘と孫を迎えにいってから荷物の積み込みをして、出掛けたの10時半位。片道100kmと近いので時間はたっぷりある。
昨年末にポチッたバイク用Rokstrapsを今日初めて使った、以前から使っていた自転車用より幅が広くゴムも強いのでしっかりと固定され安心感がある。
On the day before, packed camping gears up for ready to departure, finally I'll decide to go camping or not depending on the weather condition, physical condition and emotion after I waked up in the morning.
The camping day, I picked my daughter and granddaughter up for taking them to my house then I left my home at around 1030 for camping. My home to the campground is nearly 100km so I have ample time.
I bought Rokstraps for motorcycle use end of the last year and shake it down this time. Comparted with the strap for bicycle, it has a wider and stronger rubber belt so it keeping much tighter the baggage onto motorcycle.

In Sirako area, Kawazu sakura cherry blossoms are fully blooming and enjoyable to watch the same cherry blossoms even not to go far place of Kawazu town in Izu peninsula where the sakura watching is very popular.
いつもの通り一宮海岸広場でトイレ休憩し、キャンプ場に電話を入れるが応答なし。「まあ何とかなるっしょ」ってことでそのまま「せんどう大原岬店」まで行きここから再度電話。一度目は駄目だったが二回目は暫く鳴らしていたら出た。予約できたので、安心して食材購入。
At the parking spot of Ichinomiya beach side for the small rest as usual where I've made the reservation call to the owner of campground but no response at all. I guess it may be OK so I have head up to supermarket named Sendo Ohara. And after reached there, I've called again. Farst time it was failed but second try, I got the reservation of tonight so I could do shopping of foods without any anxiety.
電話で聞いてはいたが、奥にあった沼地が埋め立てられ、その更に奥の田んぼも整地されていてキャンプ場が広がった。ただ奥の方は農地登録なので野菜を植えてキャンパーに自由に採取してもらう事も考えているとのこと。ついでにハンモックキャンプが可能な場所が限定されているので、脱着式のハンモックポールが建てられる様にする案も話していたので是非、と伝えておいた。
The owner of campground talked me over the phone, the site became much wider than before since swamp being existed was reclaimed and rice fields in back side of the swamp were leveling for the ground. However, the previous rice fields area is still registered as farmland so owner has an idea of planting vegetables in the future that can be served for camping.
Beside now the available area and trees for pitching the hammock are limited so he said that he is considering additional hammock poles for the pitching so I tell him that I do wishing it too.
いつもの場所にハンモック設営。
想定最低気温は10℃位で左程寒くはないが、一応防寒サイドに振って、アンダーキルトを付け、DDハンモックの下部にはサーマレストZソルを挿入、寝る時はタープを降ろしてAフレームのフルクローズドにし、シュラフはスナグパックエリート5という仕様。夜中に少し風が出てタープ内に吹き込んできたが、この装備で寒いとは感じなかった。
ただ後述の様に雑談していて、試しに寝てみて微調整が出来なかったので寝心地が余り良くなかったので熟睡は出来なかった。

Estimated lowest temperature tonight would be 10℃ and not so cold but just in case for the protection、under quilt was added, THERMAREST Zsol matt was inserted in between the double layered bottom of DD hammock, fully closed A-frame tarp shall be covered over the hammock when sleeping、Snugpak Elite 5 sleeping bag was used. In the night, little bit of blew inside of the tarp but not to feel cold with these gears.
However, as mentioned later, I've talking too much time with a guy and I could not check and adjust the hammock so it was not so comfortable for sleeping on the hammock this time.
管理人さんが薪@無料を燃やし易い大きさに切ってトラックで届けてくれたので助かった。必要な分だけ降ろして後はもし追加するなら集積所に取りに行くことに。ここの薪は広葉樹で針葉樹に比べて爆ぜたり大量の火の粉が舞ったりしないので安心して焚火が出来る。焚きつけ用の小枝はそこら中に落ちていて直ぐに集まるから着火は難しくない。
Owner brough me an ample fire woods by truck at free of charge which are cut in proper sized and it is very helpful for me. I took the necessary amount and others are damped off at stock place and I will pick them up if necessary further more.
The firewood available here are mostly hard wood and hardwood is much calm and gentle when burning compared with coniferous, and rather suit for bonfire. Small branch for starting fire is available everywhere and can be start the fire easily.
その後一通り設営が終わって、遅めに昼食にパンをかじり始めたら、管理人さんの友人の勝浦のバイク屋さんが話かけてきて、BMWの旧R系の話なんかでも盛り上がり、結局暗くなる頃までたっぷり2時間位は話し込んでいた。
Almost finished the pitch hammock, eating sweet bread for late lunch, a friend of owner who is owner of motorcycle shop in Katsuura City told me, and we were talked a lot including old BMW's motorcycles and so on more than 2 hours.
暗くなってきたので急いで焚火と夕飯の支度。夕飯は簡単に焼き肉。白飯とレタスパックも買ってきたから肉を焼いて食べるだけ。味付けはシンプルに塩、胡椒のみ。リフレクターは重たいのでバイクキャンプではどうしても連れ出すのが億劫になるが、有れば輻射熱で暖かいし、焚火が風に煽られて暴れるのも抑えられる。
The site was getting dark so quickly set bonfire and dinner up. Dinner was simply grilled beef meat. Steamed white rice and fresh lettuce ware ready, too. Just salt and pepper ware seasoning.
Reflector for bonfire is bit heavy so hesitating to pack with motorcycle camping but it is useful for warm camping by radiant heat and protective against wind to keep calm the fire.
時間が無い時や面倒な時は炊飯は省きたい。今回はおにぎりはほぼ売り切れで白飯パックが一つだけ残っていた。両方無ければサトウのごはんにするか、冷凍ポテトにするか。メニュー変えるか弁当にするか、手はいくらでもある。
When I don't have time or feel lazy, I want to skip cooking rice. This time, the rice balls were almost sold out and there was only one pack of white rice left. If I don't have both, I'll use Sato's retort rice or frozen potatoes. There are many options, such as changing the menu or bento boxes.
今回持参したクッカーは、12年前に購入したこのチヌークハードアノダイズド8.5インチだけ。
I brought one 12 years old Chinook flying pan only this time.
ついいつもの癖で食後に湯を沸かして珈琲と紅茶を淹れて飲んでしまっが、夜中にトイレで起きることもなく朝を迎えた。一晩中キョンが相変わらず姿に似合わないグェーみたいな声で鳴いていたが慣れたのか余り気にならず。
風が強まる前にざっと片付けを済ませてから軽い朝食をとり、0930に出発。チェックアウトは何時でも好きなだけ居て良い、と言われたが、今日は風が強まり天気が崩れる可能性もあるのので長居は避けた。
それと花粉が半端なく飛んでいて、テッシュ大量消費、目も痒い。暫くは花粉にも悩まされそうだ。帰宅後この記事を書いていたら雨が降りだしたから良い時に帰って来た。
Out of habit, I ended up boiling water and making coffee and tea after meals, but I made it to morning without getting up to use the restroom in the middle of the night. Throughout the night, Kyon continued to cry in a gruesome voice that didn't suit his appearance, but I guess he got used to it and didn't really care.
Withdrawal quickly before the wind picked up, I had a light breakfast, and set off at 0930. I was told by camp owner that I could stay as long as I wanted, but I didn't want to stay too long today as the wind was picking up and there was a possibility of bad weather. Also, there was a lot of pollen flying around, and I was using a lot of tissues, and my eyes were itchy.
It looks like we will be bothered by pollen for a while. As I was writing this article after returning home, it started raining, so I came back at a good time.
帰宅前に近所のGSで給油したら195.7km走って、燃費は40.25km/lだった。
Before returning home, I refueled at a nearby GS and drove 195.7km, with fuel efficiency of 40.25km/l.
