ロシアへのウクライナ侵攻がついに始まってしまった。ウクライナの激しい抵抗で、首都キエフは現時点では陥落されていないが、果たしてどこまで持ちこたえられるのか、もはや時間の問題ではないかと思われる。
状況の深刻さを察したアメリカとドイツは、ウクライナへの武器の供与を決定し、アメリカ国防総省は昨日、ウクライナに対して3億5000万ドル、およそ400億円分の武器供与を決定、ドイツは対戦車砲1000門や携帯式地対空ミサイル500基を提供すると発表した。おそらく、戦争が長期化するのを見て判断したのだろう。ドイツは第二次世界大戦以降、他国へ武器を供給しない方針だったが、ここに来て初めて方針転換をしたことになる。
しかし、武器を供与したところで、実際に応戦にいかなければ、それは単なる時間稼ぎであり、それまでに沢山の犠牲者が出ることは否めないであろう。ウクライナがNATOに加盟していなから、という理由でNATO諸国はウクライナへ参戦しないようだが、もう一つの大きな理由としては、アメリカなどが参戦すれば、第三次世界大戦に発展するからだ。
しかし、NATO諸国に加盟している、していないに関わらず、国家の危機にさらされている小国が、大国のロシアから攻撃を受けているにも関わらず、必要な物資だけ送って何もしないのは人道的にいかがなものか、と思う。しかし、人間というものは、聖書にも指摘している通り、根本的に自己中心的な生き物のため、自らの命を犠牲にしてまで助けようとはしないのだ。要するに、ウクライナへ参戦したところで、アメリカの利益にも、NATO諸国の利益にもならないため、傍観するしかないのだ。
これは、日本人にも肝を銘じておかなくてはいけない。日本の周りはロシア、中国という大国と隣り合わせであり、尖閣諸島や北方領土の問題を抱えており、核兵器を持っていない、という点ではウクライナと状況が全く同じだ。現在、中国は台湾を合併しようとしており、もし、ロシアがウクライナを制覇することになれば、中国の台湾合併は時間の問題であろう。台湾が中国の属国になれば、次に狙われるのが、尖閣諸島、そして沖縄だ。北では、ロシアが北方領土だけでなく、北海道も支配下に入れることは十分ありえることだ。
現在、沖縄には米軍基地があり、アメリカ軍が防波堤になっているため、中国も手が出せない状態であるが、実際に中国が尖閣諸島や沖縄に侵攻した場合、アメリカは日本の為に闘わない可能性が非常に高い。何故なら、アメリカにとって、中国と戦っても何の利益もないからだ。昨年の8月、アメリカが突然アフガニスタンから撤退し、そして今回のロシア・ウクライナの戦争でも応戦しないことを考えると、日本に万一のことがあっても、アメリカが知らん顔する可能性はほぼ100％であろう。
万一、アメリカが中国やロシアと戦ったとしても、両国共に核兵器を持っているため、全面戦争にはならず、結局日本側が折れることになり、それらの領土は中国・ロシアの支配下となるであろう。
聖書によれば、この世界は徐々に統一され、それが今、目の前で起ころうとしている。ロシアがウクライナを陥落すれば、世界統一への動きはますます加速化されるであろう。そして、私たちがこれまで見たこともなかった恐ろしい出来事の数々を目のあたりにすることになるのだ。
すでに私たちは、世界各国で様々な地震や噴火による災害や、山火事、そしてコロナウィルスなど、すでにその恐ろしい一部を垣間見ているが、これよりもさらに恐ろしいことが起こる、と聖書では断言している。
聖書を読むと、あまりにも今の世界情勢の状況と一致するので、恐ろしくなるが、私は聖書の神様を信じており、予め今後何が起こるのかを聖書が教えてくれるので、どのような状況の中でも平安があり、心の準備は既にできている。しかし、聖書の神様を知らない人達にとっては、今後何が起こるのかも分からないため、不安にさいなまれてパニック状態に陥る人が多く出ると思われる。そうならないために、私は一人でも多くの人に聖書を読み、そしてしかるべき（プロテスタント系の）教会へ行くことを強くお勧めしたい。

The invasion of Ukraine into Russia has finally begun. Due to the fierce resistance of Ukraine, the capital Kiev has not fallen at this point, but it seems that it is only a matter of time. The United States and Germany, seeing the seriousness of the situation, decided to provide weapons to Ukraine, and the U.S. Department of Defense yesterday decided to provide Ukraine with $ 350 million, about 40 billion yen worth of weapons. Germany announced that it will provide 1000 anti-tank guns and 500 portable ground-to-air missiles. Germany had a policy of not supplying weapons to other countries since World War II, so it was the first time that Germany changed its policy.
However, because they don't actually fight back, it's just a time-saver. It's undeniable that there will be more casualties. NATO countries said that they would not participate in Ukraine because Ukraine is not a member of NATO. There is another reason that if the United States and other countries participate, it will develop into World War III, that we definitely need to avoid.
However, isn't it inhumane to send only the necessary supplies and do nothing to a small country that is attacked by big country, Russia? Unfortuntately, as the Bible points out, human beings are fundamentally self-centered creatures and do not try to help at the expense of their own lives. (Of course, I know some very few people who are willing to offer their lives for others.) Therefore, since entering Ukraine does not benefit the United States or NATO countries, there is no choice for them but to observe.
This must be kept in mind for the Japanese as well. The situation around Japan is exactly the same as that of Ukraine. Japan, which is located right next to Russia and China, has problems with the Senkaku Islands and the northern territories, and does not have nuclear weapons. Currently, China really wants Taiwan, and if Russia were to conquer Ukraine, China's merger with Taiwan will be a matter of time. If Taiwan becomes a part of China, the next targets will be the Senkaku Islands and probably Okinawa, too. In the north, it is quite possble that Russia will take control of Hokkaido as well as the northern territories.
Currently, there is a U.S. military base in Okinawa, and because of that, China is in a state of being out of reach. But if China actually invades the Senkaku Islands and Okinawa, it is very likely that the United States does not fight against China for Japan. Considering that the United States suddenly withdrew from Afghanistan in August last year and does not fight for Ukraine, I can say that the United States will do nothing for Japan.
Even if the United States fights against China and Russia, it will not be a full-scale war because both countries have nuclear weapons. Thus, the Japanese side will eventually be forced to make a compromise, and those territories will be under the control of China and Russia.
According to the Bible, this world will be gradually united and it is actually happening now. If Russia falls to Ukraine, the move towards global unification will accelerate. And we will see a lot of horrific events that we have never seen before. We have already glimpsed some of the horrifying parts of the world, including disasters from various earthquakes and eruptions, wildfires, and coronaviruses, but the Bible asserts that even more horrifying things will happen in the future.
Reading the Bible might be scary for some people because it also tells about the end of the world, but I believe God who sent Jesus Christ for us, and the Bible actually tells me in advance what will happen in the future. So, I have always peace no matter what happens in this world and my mind is already ready for the worst case.
However, for those who do not know God, many people will probably panic and put themselves into anxiety and constant worriness because they do not know what will happen in the future. Do you want to have peace always no matter what happens to you? If so, I strongly recommend that as many people as possible read the Bible and go to the appropriate (Protestant) church!
