もう、リルガールではありませんが今の自分を形成したひと夏の出来事
I'm NOT a little girl anymore, but here is a shocking incident at that time of 1979


ホストファミリーのワナイかワナイのお母さんが洗濯物をしてくれたらしく
Renee or her mom did my laundry and.....

驚いたのは、靴を洗濯機で洗ってくれたことと
What surprised me the most was that they washed my shoes in the washing machine like clothes!!!

乾燥機であっと言う間に洗濯されていたこと
The dryer made this process of laundry soooo quick and.......

衣類が驚く程、色あせていたことは信じられなかった
my clothes were all faded unbelievably......

合理的過ぎてついて行けないと感じた３５年前
I couldn't keep up with their rational everyday conducts 35 years ago.

ある意味、今もついて行けない部分がたくさんあるがアメリカ大好き
Even now, 35 years passed, I don't use a dryer, I don't wash my shoes in the washing machine nor I won't my clothes to be faded when I do my laundry. But....... I love America.


この経験も今の私を作っている
