今日は5月以降、コロナで休講にしていた日本画クラスの日でした。久しぶりの皆さんに会えて、ごんごん♪エンジンがかかりました。
Today, I restarted my Nihon-ga class which had been closed due to corona after May. So happy to see everyone in my class.
春先にお稽古していた、「若桜図」を完成しました。白い絵の具(胡粉といいます)１色で桜を描いてきます。たった１色だけで、伝統に裏打ちされた、迫力と華やかさを表現する勉強です。
We finally finished our Cherryblossom painting. We use just few colors to paint, especially for the blossoms only one white pigment is used. We learn very classic ways to practice Nihon-ga while pursuing impressive and elegant expression in traditional art methods.
温故知新といいますか、モダンなところもある桜図です。
However, it still looks modern.
生徒さんからは、秋のお菓子をたくさん、差し入れに頂きました❤️🤍❤️🤍
Students brought a lot of autumn gifts to the class! 🍪🍬
根気のいる作業なので、お茶を頂いたり、お話もしながら、たのしくお稽古をしました。
Because it requires us precise brush strokes to paint, sometimes we enjoyed tea breaks and chatting with laughter 😃 !
