Lenovo System Update復活

３月末で停止となっていた、System Updateが５月末に復活。

ThinkVantage System Updateの再導入方法について

Lenovo(旧IBM)のＰＣでメーカー製のBIOS, ドライバー, 付属ソフトウェアを最新版に更新する機能です。

別ソリューションを検討中とのことでしたが、結局元に戻っただけですね。

でも、会社のＰＣ２台で試したところ両方ともチェック中にエラーが。

対策は下記の通り。

・System Updateをアンインストールし、再度インストール。

SystemUpdateはこちらからダウンロード→コチラ

・Vista SP2がインストールされている場合には下記の設定が必要。

C:\Program Files\Lenovo\System Update\session\system\SSClientCommon\MappingInterface.xml
の<OSs></OSs>の間に以下のコードを追加。
