また、デジタル電話は4月15日まで日本へ無料でかけられるようになったそうです。

Time Warner Offers Japan TV, Free calls
Time Warner Cable has added TV Japan, a Japanese-language news channel, free to digital customers here on Channel 859 for a week. And Time Warner says that digital phone customers can make free calls to Japan through April 15.
“During significant emergencies like this, it is important the lines of communications remain open. We want to do our part to connect those in our area with the most current and comprehensive information about the tragedy,” said Shannon Mullen, Southwest Ohio regional vice president of operations.
TV Japan is a 24-hour Japanese language television channel geared towards the Japanese community in North America. The digital service requires a digital converter box.
The free calls to Japan program includes both residential Digital Phone and Business Class Phone customers, and will be retroactive for all calls placed on March 11, 2011.
Digital Phone Customers who are making calls to Japan during the eligible period do not need to make any changes to their accounts in order to take advantage of this program, said Glenn Britt, Chairman and CEO, Time Warner Cable. This program will cover any Time Warner Cable Digital Phone and Time Warner Cable Business Class Phone subscriber making a direct call to Japan. Calls to operators or directory assistance will continue to be charged at the usual rate.
