先週、先輩主婦のお友達とお料理教室に行ったときのものです　パーティの準備でもなく、夕飯の準備でもなく、ただ作ることを目的に、一緒に作ったものを一緒に食べるのって違う楽しさ発見　この年で初めて普通のお鍋でご飯を炊きました　料理が素敵なエンターテイメントとなった一日でした。

I went to cooking school with my friend last week It was my first time to cook rice in a regular pot instead of a rice cooker. Cooking , not for dinner, not for a party, but just for fun, ... and with your friend.... I found that cooking could be entertainment

にゃご Meow

妹とキャッツを観ました　キャッツって、あまりにロングランでいつでもどこでもやっているイメージがあって、ついつい他のミュージカルを選びがちですが、初めて観た感想は・・・とっても楽しめました　ロビーからホールに入るとゴミ捨て場（猫の住みか）に入ったような気分になれて、出演者の動きは本当のネコみたいでした。猫達が観客席をウロウロしてるなかで、ハンサムねこくんと握手できてラッキーでした～　犬好きの私としては、キャツに対抗して「ドッグズ」もあったらいいな、と思いました。走り回ったりしっぽ振ったりで、出演者達が超体育会系じゃなきゃダメかな

"Cats" with my sister I had never felt like choosing this musical because I always felt that you can see it anytime & anywhere... it's one of the longest-run musicals. But it turned out to be a really good choice, which was my sister's The entire hall is decorated with 'garbage' to look like a dumping ground, where the cats live, and their cat moves look so real I was also lucky enough to get to shake hands with one of handsome cats when he was runnning around the audience seats I'm a dog person, so I hope somebody will make a musical "dogs". Performers would need to be very athletic being able to run nonstop and wag all the time though

思い出した言葉 A quote I just remembered.

有楽町にある国際フォーラムにバーン・ザ・フロアというショーを見に行きました。一言で言うと、ペアダンスの舞台です。ワルツ、スウィング、サンバなどあらゆるペアダンスを一流のダンサーが踊り、更に衣装や演出を工夫しているので、ストーリーがなくても十分楽しめます。とにかく大きなエネルギーを感じました。アメリカでこのようなタイプのショーに行くと、自分も含めて観客が通路などで踊り始めますが、日本ではさすがに「総立ち」まででした←これってかなり盛り上がっていると思いますが。

I went to Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho to see a pair dance show "Burn the Floor" Gorgeours costumes, lighting effects, and dynamic choreography made all kinds of dancing , such as waltz, swing, samba,etc. by top level dancers, look even more fascinating.　 It was very energetic and inspiring.  The second half of the show got a standing ovation.  This is pretty good reaction for Japanese audience  (I used to dance in aisles when I went to this kind of show in the US, though)

 

色んな一流の人々を見ていていつも思い出す言葉があります。

テレビでオリンピックのフィギュアスケートを見ていたときに、どこかの国の解説者が、軽やかに滑る選手を見て言った言葉です。今日も最高の笑顔で、パッと見、楽々と美しく踊る出演者を見て思い出しました。また、この言葉はスポーツやダンスだけではなく、仕事、趣味、美容、恋愛、勉強など日常生活の中での色々なことに通じる言葉だと思います。

This is a comment from a figure skating commentator in Winter Olympics several years ago, and this was about a medal winnning skater, gracefully skating on TV at the moment.   Watching efforless-looking dancers with a big smile on the stage tonight, I remembered this word once again.  Also, I believe this idea is not only about performing arts, but also things in our daily life, like job, hobbies, beauty, love, etc....

地下でダーツ Darts Under the Ground

今日はお友達と一緒にウチのサルサレッスンを受けたあと、ダーツというものを初めて体験しました。そのイメージどおり、ダーツバーは暗めの地下にありました　　

After a salsa lesson with my girlfriends, we played darts (it was my first time).   The "darts bar" was under the ground and the place was a little dark     

 

「やる？やらない？どうしようか・・・」なんて言いながらいつも通り飲んでいましたが、やりだすと面白くなってきました

"Should we try it? or not?" talking & drinking as usual But once we started, I found it a lot of fun.

海のメリーゴーランド Merry-Go-Round under the Sea

お天気はまあまあ。しかし、突然、品川プリンスホテル内のエプソンアクアスタジアムに行くことになり、一気に心が晴れました。

The weather was just OK today, but it turned out to be a beautiful day for me since I got to see dolphins at Epson Aqua Stadium in Shinagawa Prince Hotel

人が少なかった分ゆっくり楽しめた気がします。水が掛かることも気にせず、一番前でイルカショーを見たのですが、イルカの可愛さは涙が出そうなほどですね。動物と触れ合うことで心身の機能を健康にするアニマルセラピーでは、犬、馬、イルカなど色々な動物と触れ合うことが知られていますが、イルカは「水」との組み合わせもあってか、特別な効果があるような気がします　いつかダイビングでイルカに会いたいです。

The aquarium was not crowded at all, so the day was really relaxing. I enjoyed the dolphin show right in front of the tank without being afraid of getting wet Watching those dolpins interacting with people with such cute eyes almost made me filled with tears out of joy. A lot of kinds of animals, such as dogs and horses are used for animaly therapy, but I thought dolphins must work really well with the help of "healing power of water", maybe. I truly hope to meet wild dolphins when I dive next time
