床の間：とこのま：Tokonoma

A happy new year
This is a Japanese traditional room in January.

The center space is called Tokonoma for Kakejiku.
The red sun is drawn in the Kakejiku.
It is rising.
Where is it rising from?
You can freely imagine it rising from the sea or the mountain range.

The Bonsai is an Ume tree which has many white blossoms.
And Ume is a kind of Japanese apricot tree.
