It will be held from 5 Novenber 2014.
I would like to introduce a new ceramic of Mrd Sanae KONDO, ECHIZEN, Fukui, Japan.
It has arrived recently for the International Exhibition.
She wrote like this about the caracter of the ceramic work.
She tries to imitate the shape of the ＣＨＡＳＥＮ、by baking in a wood oven for four days. Chasen is one of the tea ceremony used for the preparation of powdered green tea in Japan.
And how about the artist's perspective ?
The answer is like this.
The artiste appreciated the beauty of an old chandelier and saw a similar beauty in the curved form of the CHASEN. She wanted to express the ductility of the bamboo and the beauty created in the curved form of the vase.
