Dali “Common” just means plentiful, like mosquitos are common in summer. Mosquitos are plentiful in summer. But they are not common in winter. Mosquitos are of course bad. Another example of “common” is, “This is a common mistake.” It means the mistake is widespread, and of course mistakes are bad.
