The building of Baguio Cathedral was finally completed in 1936, and consecrated that year and dedicated to Our Lady of Atonement. It is distinct for its rose-colored exterior, twin spires and traditional stained glass windows make it famous and one of the most photographed iconic buildings in Baguio City.

The cathedral has undergone extensive repairs and renovation after Baguio earthquake (July 16, 1990) and was re-opened to the public last November 25, 1990 during the celebration of “Christ The King”. It was also re-painted with a very nice ivory pink (rose) color that time.
