日本の囲碁のプロ棋士対局はマスク着用がルールになりました。
将棋は外しても大丈夫なようですね。
マスクをして長時間の対局は集中力が落ちると言う説も聞きますが。。。

Not the nicest weather to keep the masks on.
Wearing masks became compulsory for Japanese professional Go tournaments.
It seems that it's ok to take them off for Shogi games.
I do hear theories that long games with masks on leads to lower concentration levels...
