パリ日本文化会館に今年もお雛様が飾られました。
囲碁教室で、お雛様の紹介をしました。
お雛様と碁の関係は？
昔のお雛様の飾りに碁盤・将棋盤・双六盤の3点セットが入っているものもあります。
その写真などを囲碁教室の生徒さん達に紹介しました。

私が数年前に感激したものは赤坂本店『和菓子の虎屋』の雛人形の中に碁盤があって
その上に米粒大の碁石でプロの碁をきちんと並べてあったのを発見した時です。

The most impressive hina dolls that I've seen in my life are from the set that I saw few years ago in a traditional Japanese-style confectionary shop, "Toraya". A professional game was properly placed on the small Go board with tiny Go stones.

The Japanese Doll Festival (雛祭り, Hina-matsuri?), or Girls' Day, is held on March 3, the third day of the third month. Platforms with a red hi-mōsen are used to display a set of ornamental dolls (雛人形, hina-ningyō?) representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants, and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period.
