前回の一番左の青年（１７歳）に日本棋院で偶然、会ったのですが、
何と院生志願のイスラエルからの青年でした。
４年前ほど、イスラエルで『ヒカルの碁』のアニメがＴＶ
で放映され
碁がブームになり、２年前当たりから若い有段者が出てきていました。
私の所にも院生志願の打診、マスターコース参加者があり、今も
プロ棋士派遣の打診を受けている矢先の出来事です。
この青年は親戚に日本と縁がある人がいて、院生になる準備をしていたようです。それにしても、詳しい情報がなくても、『院生、プロ棋士』
を目指して
西洋の若者が日本まで武者修行に来てくれる時代になったのですね。
是非、このような若者の受け入れ態勢を日本側も作ってあげたいものです。
The boy who is standing in the right side of the photo in my last entry is the boy whom I met in Nihon kiin the other day.
He is a 17-year-old from Israel.
He came to Japan to become an Insei.
I have been hearing that there are many young Go players in Israel by Hikaru no Go animation on TV since 4 years ago.
And I had some contact with boys who want to become Insei and we had some of the young boys joining the Go mastercourse the last 2 years.
I hope we can prepare to receive these new GO playersfor studying Go in Japan more and more.
