『アッテネーターの音。プリの音。vol.9』の続きです。
次に比較のため、真空管バッファのcdb30を聴いてみました。
音源は同じくiPadです。
iPad --- usb30i --- att60 --- cdb30(または試作のバッファアンプ) --- パワーアンプ
上記のシステムで試作したバッファアンプと、cdb30とを比較します。

試作品ではヴォーカルの高域が少し荒くなる印象でしたが、
cdb30では真空管特有の優しい高域です。
cdb30の特徴は中域です。
ヴォーカルが前にでてきます。
周波数特性の中域が膨らんでいるわけではなくフラットなのですが
中域に力が出てきます。

cdb30は柔らかな音です。
これは真空管の特徴でもありますが、
抵抗も影響していると思いました。
「アッテネーターの音。プリの音。vol.7」でご紹介しましたが、
cdb30は金属皮膜抵抗ではなく、カーボン抵抗を使用しています。
それが真空管のやわらかな音を助長しているとおもわれます。

It is a continuation of "Attenuator's sound. Pri-amp's sound. vol.9"
Next, I heard by cdb30 of the vacuum tube buffer for comparison.
Similarly a sound source is iPad.
iPad --- usb30i --- att60 --- cdb30(or Buffer amplifier) --- Power amplifier
The above-mentioned system
compares the buffer amplifier made as an experiment and cdb30.

In the trial product, vocal was an impression which becomes somewhat rude.
In cdb30, it is treble gentle to peculiar to a vacuum tube.
The feature of cdb30 is a midrange.
Vocal comes out in front.
A midrange is not necessarily high at a frequency characteristic.
It is flat.
However, a midrange is powerful.

cdb30 is a soft sound.
This is the feature of a vacuum tube.
Furthermore, I thought that it had influence of a resistor.
It opened to the public by "Attenuator's sound. Pri-amp's sound. vol.7"
cdb30 is using not a metal film resistor but the carbon resistor.
It is considered to promote a soft sound of a vacuum tube.
