ムジカcdb30、pho30、usb30、いぶき、
雷鳥等には軍用のサブミニチュア管が使用されています。
長さ３ｃｍ、直径１ｃｍ程で
真空管の中で一番小さい種類です。
この真空管が開発されたのは
真空管時代も終わり、
トランジスターの時代を向かえようとしていた1968年。
当時の最先端の技術で作られた真空管でした。
その大きさから補聴器に使用されたり、
振動に対する信頼性の高さからミサイルにも使われたそうです。
ムジカでは12AT7、12AU7等の電圧増幅菅を使用してきましたが
このサブミニチュア管の不良率は圧倒的に低く、
12AU7の1/10以下です。

The defective fraction of this subminiature tube is overwhelmingly low,
and is 1/10 or less to 12AU7.
