　お早うございます。三月末にDVDレコーダーがダウンし、録画が出来なくなっています。従ってNHKの「日本百名山」などは見ることは少なくなりました。番組表で確認しても視聴を忘れてしまいます。Ｗ　NHKオンデマンドに入会すればアーカイブスに保存されている過去に放送された番組がの見られるのですが、月額972円が勿体ない。　NHKは視聴料で成り立っているので副収入は止めて無料にして欲しいものです。次はネットでNHKを見ても有料になるとか・・・いつもの不平不満になりそうなのでこの辺りで次の話題にしよう。

　「見たい見たいと言うよりも、進んでテレビを消しましょう」　短い人生です、他に楽しい事を見つけた方が良さそうです。今日はいつも聞いているAFNで人気の楽曲「Stand By You」を聴いてください。歌っているのはRachel Plattenと言うアメリカのシンガーソングライターです。「スタンバイユー」は2015年11月にコロムビアからシングル盤がリリースされて大ヒットとなりました。彼女は以前Better Placeでも紹介しています。

　近くの丘を散歩中、畑に植えてあった大きな花、キク科の一年草「ヒマワリ」（向日葵）です。流石に栄養豊富な畑で育ったヒマワリ、草丈は3mを越え、水平に撮影できないので近くの土手に這い上がり200ｍｍの望遠で撮りました。学名のHelianthus （ヘリアンサス）は「太陽の花」、種子から採った油脂は食用よりも石鹸などの材料になるようです。オームなどの鳥も好んで食べます。北アメリカの原産ですがロシアは国花に指定しています。

　ゴッホが好んで描いたヒマワリですが大きな株の先端を切り取って花瓶に活けた様です。ひまわりに人生を懸けたゴッホでした。部屋に籠らず、ヒマワリの様に太陽に向かって明るく生きて欲しかった。

　おはようございます。最近のニュースで注目されるのがフランスにおける女子大生不明事件、トランプノミクス、駐韓日本大使の一時帰国（一時国交断絶）命令などです。”カエルの楽園で育った”日本女性の”恐いもの知らず”は改めるべきです。男子に対する故事は女性にも当てはまります。「女子家を出れば七人の敵有り」日ごろから軽はずみな男女のお付き合いは慎むべきです。

　「トランプノミクス」についてはTWITTER投稿をめぐり大騒ぎです。先日はフォード、ＧＭに続いてトヨタのメキシコ進出にも「３５％の関税を課す」とツイットし、日本企業はトランプ氏の一挙手一投足に戦々恐々です。

　韓国（釜山）の日本総領事館前に設置された慰安婦像を市当局が許可した事に日本政府が反発し、駐韓日本大使を一時帰国させる対応をとりました。これは「期限のない国交断絶」であり、個人的には大歓迎です。反日教育を堂々と薦めるなど日本に対する「宣戦布告」をしているようなものです。こんな国に協力することなど一切必要ありません。「もう少し大人になってから出直して来い」ってやつです。それにしても「世界中に慰安婦像を設置する」と息巻く外国在住韓国人っていったい・・・

　遅れましたが、肝心の曲の紹介をします。アメリカのシンガーソングライターRachel Plattenが歌う「Better Place」です。この曲もAFNで見つけました。レイチェル・プラッテンは１９８１年マサチュセッツ州生まれの３６歳です。彼女はLady Gagaなどアメリカ人女性シンガーに共通する楽器演奏が巧みでヴォーカルのほかにピアノ、ギター、キイボードなども担当します。「ファイト・ソング」、「スタンバイ・ユー」などのヒット曲があります。

　ぱっとしないが花の乏しい時期に咲くキク科の常緑多年草「ウインターコスモス」です。本来は黄色の花なのですが栄養不足の為か黄色が失われているようです（草丈も35cmと低い）。白に近い品種と言う事も考えられますが・・・　四季咲き性なので疲れているかもしれません。肥沃な土地だと芯が1m程に伸びるようです。原産地はアメリカ南部からメキシコ地方です。
