』などと言いながらワタワタとして、今年最後の挨拶も避けようとしているので
そんな情けないChieママの代わりに、ぼく達が《今年最後のご挨拶》をしようと思います。
みなさま、ぼく達は今も楽しく愉快にしていますが、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？」
Joshua: "Since mommy Chie is soooo busy making something called 'Hors-d'œuvre' for the new years day
and trying to avoid her last greeting of this year,
I've decided to express our gratitude to all the fans of ours ourselves!
So, how's everybody doing while we are havin good time?"
（Duke: 「さっ、次はトレニアの番だぞ、しっかりソツなくな
」）
(Duke: "Now, it's your turn, Torenia. Be good, ok?")
Torenia: 「はい、デュークパパ！
えと．．．トレニアとトレニアのふぁみりぃ～はいつも変わらず愉快に楽しく過ごしていて、
Chieママ達が見ていない時には、
トレニアはエマお姉ちゃんと一緒に自分で3~4時間くらいのお散歩（逃亡生活）ができるくらいまでセイチョウしています
」
Torenia: "Yes, daddy!
Um, me... Torenia and my family has... have fun all the time as always!
We are quite grown and well to the point, like
Torenia and my big sis Emma can take a long long walky like 3 to 4 hours by ourselves
when mommy Chie's not watching."
(meaning wandering around the mountains without my permission!) 
Emma: 「あら、わたしは小さい妹トレニアの面倒を見るために一緒について行ってるだけなんだけど．．．
でもChieママが言うには、わたしは小さい頃から《まじめ》過ぎて良い子だったから今頃になってハメをはずしてるんだって．．．
わたしはハメをはずしているわけじゃなくて、妹のトレニアの面倒を見ているだけなのに．．．
と、そんなことよりももっと大切なことを伝えておかなくっちゃね バーティはいる？」
Emma: "Oh dear... I'm just taking care of my little sister Torenia...
But somehow mommy Chie said I've been too good and too well behaved and now going backward to experience the childishness...
But you know it's not that, don't you? I'm still good and perfect taking care of my little sister...
Oh, don't forget to mention something more important! Bartimaeus, could you?"
Bartimaeus: 「えっ、なんでぼく
仕方ないな．．．
Chieママは、今回は省略するんだって．．．
」
Bartimaeus: "WHa?! Why me?! Oh well...
Ok, you see, mommy Chie will not do it this year..."
Viola: 「バーティ、それじゃぁみんな分からないじゃないの．．．
あたしが詳しく説明すると、ChieママとChieママ兄がいつもお正月にくれるお年玉（＝美味しいもの）は省略しないって事なのよ
」
Viola: "Oh dear Barty... I don't think everyone can understand you...
Ok, let me explain. See, mommy Chie and her brother always give us THE GOODIES at the new years day
and they WILL give us THE GOODIES this year for sure!"
Jill: 「..... ヴァイオラの説明でも分からない人が多いと思うんだけど．．．
つまり、Chieママはもう『すっかりあきらめた！』って言ってたわ」
Jill: "I believe even Viola's explanation is not quite understandable...
What mommy Chie had mentioned was that she totally gave it up this year..."
Shall: 「みんなどうしてハッキリ言えないんだろうね．．．
だから、Chieママは色々とあるから《年賀状》は書かないって言ってたんだ
」
Shall: "Humph... why can't you all say what IT is...?
What my mommy Chie said was that she wouldn't write any new years greeting card to anyone."
Duke: 「まぁ、Chieの場合は忙しいとか喪中というよりもただのサボりって事ですが、
この私に免じて許してやってください。
私の場合は、大きな地震などで亡くなられた方がたくさんいるので自粛させていただきます。
さて、他のみんなは好き勝手なことを言っていましたが、2011年も後数時間というところになりました。」
Duke: "Well, I know that Chie's not too busy nor mourning her relatives,
and just being so lazy but do please forgive her for my sake.
As for my reason,
I'm conscious about the huge earthquake on March and paying respects for their sake.
Anyway, the year 2011 is almost over in a couple of hours now."
Duke: 「さぁ、みんなできちんと挨拶をするんだ。」
Duke: "Ok everyone! Be good and say the last greeting together!"

「皆様、良いお年をお迎えください
」
All together:
"Have a great eveing and hoping to have a great year to you all!"
