2匹とも2歳になりました
Today, March 27th, is
the birthday of both Duke and Shall
They are now 2 years old

朝は元気に遊び、
They played as much as they wanted
in the morning,
昼にはDukeが私に怒られ．．．

in the afternoon...

came out of the house without
my permission in the afternoon!
So, he had to stay under the hot sun
till I forgave him!)

デュークもジルも
何でも言うことを聞きますよ～
As you can see,
Duke and Jill do anything I ask them to do
to get these treats!

Well, she is too busy to say anything right now...!

今日はシャルの誕生日でもあるのに！！！
シャルにはほんのひとかけらのジャーキーしか．．．
BUT!
Today's also Shall's birthday, right?!
But he only got one piece of treat...
それは．．．
近頃のシャルは自分のご飯を
まったく食べようとしないからです
そして、美味しいものだけを
食べようとする
超我がままボーイゆえに、
兄のボスに
「１つだけなら許してやる
」
と言われたのでした．．．

ができるようになりました
Kay is too small to eat so much of treats,
so she also got only one piece...
But you know what!
She's already learned how to
Sit, Right hand, Left hand, and give me a kiss,
before she eats anything!
と、ShallとKayが１かけらずつしか
食べてないにもかかわらず、
And even though Shall and Kay got
only one piece each,
たくさんあったジャーキーは
こんなにちょっとしか残りませんでした．．．

they have done their eating...

一緒に遊べば、
知らない子でもすぐに

Kids usually love to play
When they play together,
they can get acquainted pretty soon
even though they were timid at first
昨日の天気とはうって変わって、
今日は朝から快晴
昨日の鬱憤を晴らしに、
みんなで元気に散歩に出かけました
The weather turned out to be
totally opposit of yesterday's
and the bright sun was shining
warmly this morning
So, we all went out for
a long walk very happily
これは、シャルがKayを飛び越えようとして
失敗したところをパシャリ
足の短いシャルは
Kayを飛び越えられずに
ずっこけちゃいました
This one was my best shot
when Shall was trying to jump over Kay
but Shall's legs are too short
to jump over...
So, he lost his balance like this!
ま、こんな感じで、
ひとしきり、みんなで走った後は、
警戒心全開だったジルも
すっかりKayとは打ち解けたのでした
Well, as you can see,
after they ran and play together
without any stress,
Jill finally loosen her guard
to Kay and started to get along well.

Now, Today's scenary.
昨日我が家にやってきたKayは
何回言ってもいい足りなくらい
きれいで美人
Kay who came here yesterday
is super clean and beautiful
without a doubt
and I'n probably not doing a
good job to express her beauty yet.
そう、彼女はまさに都会の洗練された犬
Well, she is the very sophisticated dog
from the big city, you see!
それは、
田舎者のシャルと比べてみれば
一目瞭然
You can clearly see the difference
once you see the comparison of the two,
the city girl, Kay 
the country guy, Shall.
まず、一番に目に付いたのは
彼女の素晴らしい毛艶
黒々と光るその毛並みは、
きれいにトリミングされ
やわらかいウェーブが
きれいな曲線を描いて背中の
コートを引き立てています
First,
I'd noticed how beautiful her coat was
Of course, she was trimmed nicely but
not only that made her look beautiful
but her coat color was quite excellent!
Her soft black wavy coat were
nicely shining all the time
一方、シャルの毛並みは．．．
艶はないし、枝毛はあり放題
おまけに、色は日焼けして赤茶けています
On the other hand...
Shall's coat was...
Not quite nicely shining...Oh, hell,
not shining at all,
and didn't have trimmed at all!
Besides,
his was completely tanned under the sun
and looks like dark brown instead of nice black
追い討ちをかけるように．．．
足に注目してみると
爪は自然に削られているのみで、
きれいに切ってはいません．．．
おまけに毛は伸び放題
To make the things look worse...

His nail had been cut naturally
but not cleanly cut by us...
Plus, his hair had never trimmed.

and hopefully improve Shall's as well

昨日、散々Kayの後を付回していたDuke
今日は雨で外に出れないせいか、
はたまたKayに対するレッスンか
とにかく、Kayが近寄ってきたら
すっごい勢いで怒鳴りつけてます

Remember how annoyingly
Duke went after Kay yesterday, right?
Today,

whenever she came near him

She Came!
その名はKay
Her name is Kay
シャルのお嫁さんがついに我が家にやってきました
彼女はもう9ヶ月になります。
名前は、ある人のリクエストにおこたえして、
我が家での呼び名はKayになりましたが、
もともとは、ドレスと呼ばれていました。
Finally, Shall's bride to be came here
to be one of my family members
She is already 9 months old.
And we decided to call her Kay
for accepting my friend's request!
Well, if you want to know,
her real name is Dress, but
that doesn't matter anymore.
東京からはるばる飛行機に乗って
やってきたKayは
かなりのびじ～ん
She came here all the way from Tokyo
and when I first saw her,
I was struck by her beauty
でも空港から車で家まで帰っている時は
すごく緊張していたので、
ケージからは全然出てこようとしませんでした！
This was the time when we were taking her
from the airport to home.
See, she was so nervous and
didn't want to leave her cage!
そして、我が家へついて
みんなとごあいさつ
And when we got home,
she was quite welcomed by all of them!
デュークもシャルも興味津々
Oh, Duke and Shall couldn't let her go
till they were satisfied
シャルは早速アタック
See, Shall was very quick to approach her
でも．．．
ジルは．．．
見知らぬ犬は怖いのであった．．．
But...
As you can see,
Jill doesn't like new comers...
She is terrified of someone new...

緊張していたのはジルだけではありません。
もちろん、Kayだってすっごく落ち着かなかったんですよ
Jill wasn't the only one who was quite agitated.
Of course, Kay was so nervous and
couldn't settle down easily.
でも
But！
お腹がかなり減っていたらしく、
ご飯をあげると
ペロリンっとたいらげてくれました
あぁ、ご飯で手のかからない子だって分かって
私はうれしい
She was very hungry or maybe starving,

she ate up so quickly without any hegitation

by knowing that she doesn't give me
any trouble for eating her food!

and keeps smiling all the time
はじめの方はトコトコと散策するだけだったKayも、
At first, she was only wandering slowly,
1時間ほど、散策した後は
元気に走りはじめました
after about an hour or so,
she started to run
そして、みんなで思いっきり遊んだ後．．．
Then when they played to their hearts' content,
爪の先まで真っ白だったKayは．．．
Kay who was so clean
to her tip of her toe nails turned out,
どっろどろの我が家の子に変身してしまいました
to become the one of our dirty family members...

I haven't even updated this blog
over a month now butI should write something
about my doggies at least once in a while...
To tell you the truth, there will be a big event tomorrow,
and I thought I should write what I wanted to for a long time
before the big event.
Oh, yes. This one took place over a moth ago...
And this is about our happy gathering of my friends
and their dogs at the Dog Cafe Canile.
First, the story of Duke.
Hello everyone!
Oh, I have to dig through my memory to tell you
the event taken place over a month ago...
My memory is quite good, but you have to
forgive me for being not too thorough about what
happened at that time. Blame my Chie if you like
since she was the one who put off her writing so long.
Ok, first I'll introduce the participants at our great gathering.
Well, here's my bro, Shall.
He was a bit too excited to see
so many people and dogs at the same time...
Now, my Jill.
You know, she is strong and
do as she pleases at home
BUT
once we were out, she became like a
quiet obedient girl!
This is Mr. Hanao of Ms. Hanao's family.
I've never been held like this by my Chie before...
(Of course! I can never hold you like this
coz you are too big! By Chie)
This is Mr. Yuzuo of Ms. Hanao's.
Ms. Hanao was holding him with Mr. Hanao, you see?!
She's definitely a super woman
since my Chie can never hold me and Shall
at the same time!

next is lovely Ms. Babuuun.
Oh, she is so beautiful and
many had to take photos!
Now, this is Mr.Shyun
who came all the way from the place
called Osaka.
Now, he looks so happy in the arms of
his mother, Ms. Ranko.
This is Ms. Haro of Ms. Kaoru's family.
I was trying to greet her...
well, I'll tell you about it later.
Now, this is Ms. Lota of Ms. Kaoru's.
She was wearing a cool outfit
but I couldn't greet her properly...
This is Mr. Yutaro of Ms. RieNei's family.
I believe that day was his birthday
but I could be wrong...
Well, definitely blame Chie now.
I could have remembered right
if it was only about a couple of weeks before!
See, I tried my best to
greet everyone as friendly as I could that day.
And I think I did a good job withMr. Yutaro.
Now, I tried to Ms. Haro.
But...
She didn't want to come out from
under the table...
Well, I couldn't do anything but give up...
Then I quickly went say hi to
my lovable Ms. Babuuun
BUT
When I was whispering my love,
Jill came.
So, I had to hide quickly
behind Ms. BorBor who was near me
in the right moment...
See, there's nothing so scary than
the jealous girl...
After this,
I did my best to greet with Mr.Shyun's
mom and dad but
then I didn't have any energy left to
do much afterwards...
So, I'll let Shall to tell you
his story now...
Now, Let's hear about Shall's story.
Ok, my story is quite simple.
I had just played so much and
was quite happy about it.
Well, seeing is believing, right?!
Me and Ms. Haro
Tangling with Mr. Yutaro
I ran as much as I wanted
My favorite budy is Mr. Yutaro
because he played with me so much
I took a bit of rest with him
since he said he got tired.
Well, I didn't play enough at that time.
And I thought I wanted to play more and more in
not like this small place but the huge play ground
with him agian next time.

my birthday but it was close
to my real birthday (Feb 4th),
so they celebrated with others
for me

Well, the taste was...
it was okay.

Well, the rest of the day
wasn't as good as I thought.
The place for us to running besides the cafe
wasn't as huge as I expected, and
it was impossible for me to run there

もう１ヶ月以上も、犬の日記を更新していませんが．．．
そろそろ、少しは我が犬達の近況をお知らせしておかないと
お話がたまりにたまってしまいます．．．
何を隠そう、
明日にはビッグイヴェントが控えておりますゆえ、
その前に書いておきたい記事をアップいたします。
はい、
これはもう１ヶ月以上も前の出来事なのですが．．．
２月１２日に、
ドッグカフェ・カニーレにて楽しい集まりに
参加したときのお話でございます。
まずは、デュークのお話。
皆さん、こんにちは。
もう一ヶ月以上も前のお話を突然してくれと言われても、
いくら記憶力のいい僕でも少し戸惑いを感じてしまいます。
でも、できる限り思い出してみることにします。
では、まず参加者の紹介をします。
まずは、僕の兄弟のシャル。
たくさんの人とたくさんの犬達がいて、
かなり興奮気味．．．
そして、僕のお嫁さんのジル。
家では天下をとってるのに
外へ行くと借りてきた猫のようになるんです．．．
これははなおさんとこの花緒くん。
僕はChieにこんな風には
抱っこしてもらったことないなぁ．．．
（いや、あなたは大きすぎて、
こんな風にはぜ～ったい抱けないわよ！

大阪という遠いところから
やってきた俊くん。

なんだか、おしゃれな服をきていて
きれいだったのだけど．．．
僕はちゃんとあいさつできませんでした。
これは、Rie姉さんとこの優太郎くん。
この日が誕生日だったような．．．
僕の記憶はいまいち定かではありません。
すべては僕のChieが悪いのです！
僕は、できるかぎりみんなと
フレンドリーなあいさつをしようと
がんばりました。
Rie姉さんとこの優太郎くんとは
ちゃんとできたと思います。
さて、ハロさんとあいさつをしようと
僕はがんばってみました。
でも．．．
ハロさんは机の下から
出てきてくれませんでした．．．
仕方がないので、あきらめました
そして、僕の愛しのバブ～ン嬢へ
のあいさつにいきました
ところが、
僕の愛をバブ～ン嬢にささやいていると．．．
なんと、ジルが邪魔をしに
仕方がないので、
僕は近くにいたぼるぼるさんの
後ろに隠れることにしました。
ヤキモチ焼きの女は怖いのです．．．
僕はこの後、
俊くんのママさんとパパさんに
あいさつをして
力尽きてしまいました．．．
なので、後は僕の兄弟のシャルに
お任せしようと思います。
では、シャルのお話。
みなさん、
ぼくのお話はいたって簡単！
ぼくはとにかくいっぱい遊んだんです
まぁ、とにかく見てくれたら分かると思います。
ぼくとハロさん
優太郎君も加わり
思いっきり翔って遊びました
ぼくといっぱい遊んでくれた
優太郎君が僕のお気に入り仲間
優太郎君が疲れたといったときは
ぼくはちゃんと休憩も
一緒にしてあげました
でも．．．
ぼくはまだまだ遊び足りなかったなぁ．．．
次に会うときは、
もっともっと広いところで
た～くさん遊びたいなぁと思いました。

2月4日生まれだから
一緒にお祝いしてくれたのよ

私にそっくりな置物が見えるかしら
後は、大したことなかったわ
なんせ、カフェの横にあるランってところは
すっごく狭くって、走れたもんじゃぁなかったわよ
