ジルの毎日（再）~Jill's story AGAIN~"

き、気を取り直してがんばって書こうっと。

さてさて、今日の主役はジル。
All right.  Today's story is about my girl Jill.

なぜか、家以外のところへ行くと、と～ってもおとなしいジル。
昨日のシャディンママさんのブログを見てもらうと、とってもよく分かると思うのですが、誰かの足の後ろに隠れて走らないし、遊ばない。
今日はそんなジルの普段の姿を紹介しましょう。
Jill is a super duper quiet and nice girl when we go to see our friends. 
I have no clue how she can be so nice and shy, and you can see it even in my friend's blog (not in English, sorry), but she doesn't run nor play but she hides behind someone!
Today, I can show you who the real Jill is!

だんだんと、山が色づき始めてきました。
Day by day, the color of the mountain started to change into yellow and red.

この晴れた秋晴れの午後、ジルは大好きな散歩を元気いっぱい、走り回って楽しんで．．．
Well, this one fine afternoon of Fall, Jill is playing and enjoying her afternoon walk to her hearts content...

はぁ～。　何回も散歩中は何も食べちゃいけないって言ってあるのに、こっそりと草を食べてしまったジル。　我が兄に見つかり、食べた草貼り付けの刑にあったのでした。
Sigh... I've told her again and again not to eat anything during our walk but she's just eaten the grass behind my back. But my brother found it and Jill was punished with her eaten grass stamp on her face...

怒られたことなんかへっちゃらなジル。
すぐに、大好きな木の枝を見つけて大得意
Well, she quickly recovered from what she was scolded at, and found her favorite wood stick, and look how happy she can be!

そして、デュークやシャルにチャレンジするのです。
「とれるもんならとってみなさいよ！」
And she challenges to Duke and Shall by saying,
"I don't think you can take this but TRY ME!"

だいたい、チャレンジの相手をしてあげるのはシャル。
デュークはと言うと、
「そんなきちゃないものには興味ないねっ」だそうです。
Usually, Shall is the one who take her challenge.
And Duke says, "I have no interest what so ever in such a dirty wood stick!"

いくら走っても疲れを知らないジル。
シャルが近づいてくるのを見ると、もうとめられません！
Jill never gets tired of running.
When Shall's approaching, nothing can stop her!

そして、アタック！
And attack!

そう、シャルにはこ～んなに強気なジル。
でも．．．
Yes, Jill can be so bully to Shall.  But...

デュークが迫ってくると、かなり逃げ腰．．．
When Duke approaches, she tends to run away...

ま、ようするに、自分より身体の大きい犬には弱気ってことなのですね。
Well, all in all, Jill cannot be so bully to the dogs bigger than her...

いっぱい遊んだ♪ I had lots of FUN!

ぼくはラフ・コリーのシャルです。
I am Shall, the Rough Collie.

今日はママがいつもより遅く起きたから、ぼくは朝ちょっぴり不満だったんです。
Today, mom woke up late, so I was a bit annoyed.

でも、朝のお散歩はちゃんと連れて行ってくれたので、ほっ。　
But then, it was all right since she took us for our morning walk anyway.
今朝の散歩は、妹のジルがいつものように活発で、ぼくにつっかかってくるので、
During our morning exercise, my sister Jill was super active as usual, and trying to get me,



負けてあげなくっちゃいけなくて．．．
so, I had to let her win...

お兄さんするのも大変です。
Well, sometimes it's a bit hard to be a big brother, you know.

いつもなら、この後は夕方まで家で寝てなくちゃいけないんだけど、今日はママが奥津湖へ行こうって言ってくれたので、朝寝坊のことはみんなには内緒にしてあげとこうって思ったんです。
Usually, after our morning walk, we had to stay in our house and sleep but today, mom told us to go to the Lake Okutsu! So, I thought I should be quiet about her overslept to everyone.

ぼく、奥津湖へ行くのはすっごくスキ　
I love to go to the Lake Okutsu!



それはと～っても広いから　
because, this place is sooo huge!
ぼくの好きなだけ遊んでいいんだ。
And I can play as much as I like.



広いから、妹のジルもぼくにあんまりつっかかってこないしね　
My sister Jill doesn't bother me as much because she is busy elsewhere.

でも、今日はもっといいこともあったんだよ。
You know what! There was another surprise from Mom today.

ここへ来た後は、いつもならまっすぐ家に帰るのに、今日は前に一回行ったことがあるモリス・カフェってところにつれてってくれたんだ　
We usually go home without stopping by anywhere but today, we went to Morris Cafe, where we'd visited before.



ぼく、前に会った時にジュエルちゃんには嫌われてたんだけど、今日はちゃんと挨拶をしてくれたから、もう満足　
Somehow, Ms.Jewel didn't like me before but she greeted me nicely today, so I am completely satisfied!

帰るときに、シャディン君とジュエルちゃん達のママがなんだか美味しいものをぼくのママにあげてたのを見たんだけど、ぼくのママはよくお礼を言うのを忘れるので、ぼくが変わりにお礼を言っておかなくっちゃ　
Oh, I saw Ms.Jewel's mom gave my mom something delicious, and I think I'd better thank her since my mom often forget to say thank you!

ジュエルちゃん達のママ、美味しいものをくれてありがと～　
Ms.Jewel's mom, thank you very much for such a delicious present.

ぼくは帰ってきたら、もう目が開けられないくらい疲れちゃいました。
When I got home, I was so exhausted and couldn't keep my eyes open.

パパがご飯は？って言ってるけど、ぼくもう身体がうごきません。
Papa's asking me about dinner but I cannot move...



ママ、ぼく後でご飯もらうからって言っといてね．．．ｚｚｚ
Mom, could you tell papa I would take my dinner later? zzz

動物病院で．．．At the animal clinic...

今日は朝から動物病院へ。　
We had to go to the animal clinic in the morning.

デュークが２，３日前から足をケガしてお薬を飲んでいるのです。
なにかが刺さったのかなぁとも思ってたのだけど、先生は皮膚炎の一種みたいなものだろうって。　まぁ、とにかくケガは大したことはないのですよ。
Well, Duke got injured on his front leg and taking medication.
I thought something got stuck but doctor said it seemed some kind of skin alergy.  Anyway, the wound itself wasn't a big deal... but

問題は！　動物病院で起ったのです。
the problem is...

デュークがなんと診察台からジャ～ンプ！
Duke jumped off the consulting table suddenly!

雨も降っていたのでデュークの足がぬれてたせいもあるのだけど、つるっとスベッテどっし～ん！
And slipped and fell coz his feet were wet on the rain!

キャイィィ～ン．．．
Woowoon...

はぁ～。　病院が嫌いなわけではないデュークだけど、社会化が（山奥暮らしのせいで？！）いまいちできていないので　病院へ行くと超興奮！　何もかもがうれしいらしくって．．．　
My god... Duke didn't dislike the clinic. He just gets so excited when he meets people or dogs since he didn't have much chance to socialize (because of our living environment?!) before.

あらためて、訓練が必要なのかなぁと思ったのでした．．．
Anyway, I had to re-think of his training...

訓練は、とりあえず呼んだら（最近はしぶしぶ）来るし、危ないことはダメというとしなくなってたので、もういいかなぁと思っていた矢先の出来事。　　
I thought his training was so far enough since he comes when he was called (not so willingly nowadays though), and he won't do the things forbidden.

やっぱり、たくさんの人や犬達がいるところで訓練する必要があるのか？！と反省中．．．
Gosh, I really must think about his training among new people or dogs now...



家では異常なほど興奮しないデューク。
この無邪気な顔にだまされているのは私だけか？
He hardly gets too excited not to be controlled at home...
But am I the only one to be fooled by his innocent face?

これは、ジル。秋も深まる最近は、み～んなたくさんタネをつけて帰ります。

家に帰ると、ブラッシングをしないと家中タネだらけ！

Around this time of the year, my dogs are full of seeds after our daily walk...

I need to brush them well before going inside, otherwise... yes, my house would be full of seeds!
