『日本書紀』履中天皇 2
爰仲皇子畏有事、將殺太子、密興兵圍太子宮。時、平群木菟宿禰・物部大前宿禰・漢直祖阿知使主、三人啓於太子、太子不信。一云、太子醉以不起。故、三人扶太子、令乘馬而逃之。一云「大前宿禰、抱太子而乘馬。」仲皇子、不知太子不在而焚太子宮、通夜火不滅。
≪英訳≫
Prince Nakatsu feared that things would escalate and decided to kill the Crown Prince. He secretly raised an army and surrounded the Crown Prince's palace. Three people—Tsukunosukune of Heguri, Ōmaenosukune of Mononobe, and Achi no Omi, the ancestor of the Aya clan—reported this situation to the Crown Prince, but he did not listen. According to one account, the Crown Prince was too drunk from a festival to wake up. So, the three of them helped the Crown Prince escape on horseback. In another account, it is said that Ōmaenosukune carried the Crown Prince onto the horse.
Without knowing the Crown Prince's whereabouts, Prince Nakatsu burned down the Crown Prince's palace. It burned throughout the night.

仲皇子（なかつみこ）は事態が重大になることを恐れ、太子を殺そうと決心しました。彼は密かに兵を挙げて、太子の宮殿を囲みました。平群（へぐり）の木菟宿禰（つくのすくね）、物部（もののべ）の大前宿禰（おおまえのすくね）、そして漢直（あやのあたい）の祖先である阿知使主（あちのおみ）の三名がこの事態を太子に報告しましたが、太子は聞き入れませんでした。ある説によると、太子様は祀(祭)りの酒に酔って起きられなかったとされています。それで、三人は太子を助けて馬に乗せて逃がしました。別の説では、大前宿禰（おおまえのすくね）が太子を抱えて馬に乗せたとも言われています。
仲皇子（なかつみこ）は太子の所在を知らないまま、太子の宮殿に火を放ちました。宮殿は一晩中燃え続けました。
