『日本書紀』敏達天皇 10
十年春潤二月、蝦夷數千冦於邊境。由是、召其魁帥綾糟等魁帥者、大毛人也詔曰「惟、儞蝦夷者、大足彥天皇之世合殺者斬應原者赦。今朕遵彼前例、欲誅元惡。」於是、綾糟等、懼然恐懼、乃下泊瀬中流、面三諸岳、歃水而盟曰「臣等蝦夷、自今以後子々孫々古語云、生兒八十綿連用淸明心、事奉天闕。臣等若違盟者、天地諸神及天皇靈、絶滅臣種矣。」
十一年冬十月、新羅遣安刀奈末・失消奈末、進調。不納以還之。
十二年秋七月丁酉朔、詔曰「屬我先考天皇之世、新羅滅內官家之國。天國排開廣庭天皇廿三年、任那爲新羅所滅、故云新羅滅我內官家也。先考天皇謀復任那、不果而崩、不成其志。是以、朕當奉助神謀復興任那。今在百濟、火葦北國造阿利斯登子達率日羅、賢而有勇。故、朕欲與其人相計。」乃遣紀國造押勝與吉備海部直羽嶋、喚於百濟。冬十月、紀國造押勝等還自百濟、復命於朝曰「百濟國主、奉惜日羅、不肯聽上。」

Year 10, Spring, Intercalary Second Month
Several thousand Emishi (蝦夷) attacked the borderlands. In response, their leader, Ayakasu (綾糟), was summoned. The Emperor issued a decree, saying:
“Consider this: during the reign of Emperor Ōtarashihiko (景行天皇), the Emishi were subdued. Those who deserved to be killed were executed, and those who could be pardoned were spared. Now, following that precedent, I intend to punish the chief offenders.”
Hearing this, Ayakasu and the others were filled with fear. They went to the middle of the Hatsuse River (泊瀬川), faced Mount Mimoro (三諸岳), drank water as a sacred act, and pledged:
“From this day forward, we, the Emishi, along with our descendants, will serve the Emperor with pure and sincere hearts, as the old saying goes, ‘like threads spun together to last forever.’ Should we break this vow, may the gods of heaven and earth, as well as the spirit of the Emperor, wipe out our lineage.”
Year 11, Winter, Tenth Month
The kingdom of Silla (新羅) sent officials, Atonama (安刀奈末) and Shishōnama (失消奈末), to present tribute. However, the tribute was not accepted, and the officials were sent back.
Year 12, Autumn, Seventh Month, First Day
The Emperor issued a decree, stating, “During the reign of my late father, Emperor Kinmei (欽明天皇), Silla destroyed the Mikado’s Inner Territories (内官家) in Mimana (任那). In the 23rd year of Emperor Kinmei’s reign, Mimana fell to Silla, which is why it is said, ‘Silla destroyed our Inner Territories.’ My late father planned to restore Mimana, but his efforts were cut short by his passing, and he could not fulfill his ambition. Thus, I intend to carry out his sacred plan and revive Mimana.
Currently in Baekje (百済) resides Tassotsu(達率) Nichira (日羅), the son of Arishito (阿利斯登), the Chief of Ashikita Province (葦北国造) of Hi(肥). He is wise and courageous. I wish to consult with him.”
Accordingly, Kino Kuni no Miyatsuko Oshikatsu (紀国造押勝) and Kibi no Ama no Atai Hashima (吉備海部直羽島) were dispatched to summon Nichira from Baekje.
Winter, Tenth Month
Kino Kuni no Miyatsuko Oshikatsu and his companions returned from Baekje and reported to the court, “The King of Baekje cherishes Nichira and refuses to allow him to travel to Japan.”
≪この英文の和訳≫
(在位)十年春閏二月
蝦夷（えみし）の数千人が辺境を攻撃した。このため、彼らの首領である綾糟（あやかす）が召された。天皇は詔を賜り、次のように仰せられた。「思うに、景行天皇の御代において、蝦夷は討伐され、殺すべき者は処刑され、赦すべき者は許された。今、朕(私)はその前例に従い、元凶を討とうと思う」。
これを聞いた綾糟らは恐れを抱き、泊瀬川（はつせがわ）の川中に赴き、水をすすり、三諸岳（みもろだけ）を拝して誓った。「我々蝦夷は、今より後、子々孫々に至るまで、清らかで明るい心をもって、天皇にお仕えするであろう。もしこの誓いを破れば、天地の諸神および天皇の御霊により、我々の種族は滅ぼされるであろう。」
十一年冬十月
新羅（しらぎ）は安刀奈末（あとなま）と失消奈末（ししょうなま）を派遣して貢ぎ物を献上した。しかし、その貢ぎ物は受け取られず、使者たちは送り返された。(重出 前にも出た)
十二年秋七月一日
天皇は詔を賜り、次のように仰せられた。「先帝である欽明天皇の御代、新羅は任那（みまな）の内官家（うちのみやけ）を滅ぼした。欽明天皇二十三年、任那は新羅によって滅ぼされた。それゆえ、新羅が我が内官家を滅ぼしたというのである。先帝は任那を回復しようと画策されたが、果たせないまま崩御された。その志が成し遂げられることはなかった。ゆえに、朕はこの尊き計画を受け継ぎ、任那の復興を図ろうと思う。現在、百済には、肥（ひ）の葦北国造（あしきたのくにのみやつこ）阿利斯登（ありしと）の子である達率（たっそつ）日羅（にちら）がいる。彼は賢明であり、また勇気を備えている。それゆえ、彼と計画を共にしようと思う」。
こうして、紀国造（きのくにのみやつこ）押勝（おしかつ）と吉備海部直（きびのあまのあたい）羽島（はしま）を派遣し、百済に赴かせて日羅を召そうとされた。
十二年冬十月
紀国造押勝らは百済から帰還し、朝廷に復命して次のように申し上げた「百済の国王は日羅を大変惜しんでおり、日本に行かせることを許しませんでした」。
