Sharon Tate's sixth and final film is Nicolas Gessner's farcical 12+1 aka The Thirteen Chairs. At the time of filming Sharon was expecting her first child and the production had to accommodate her condition. Regardless, she looks absolutely breathtaking as always.
After completing her work on the film she joined her husband Roman Polanski in London for a time, then returned to her home in Benedict Canyon, CA aboard the QE2 traveling alone on July 20, 1969. The rest, as they say, is history.
Music is the fourth movement from the symphonic poem Pines of Rome by Ottorino Respighi. This particular version was performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Fritz Reiner. If I may...try to watch this with a decent sound system if possible, preferably one that has a subwoofer or at least a decent harmonic range - you won't be disappointed. I apologize for the quality of the film, there has yet to be a DVD release - hopefully we'll get one soon.
