Russian чай party

Today Rossian conversation class + α had a small party at Uni.
we had dishes like beats salad, Russian crepe, rye bread and tea, wine, vodka...etc
I didnt expect that much amount of Russian(German!?) food. So Im full now.

When i popped in the room where the party was going on, there was a strange atmosphere. I mean, Japanese people who are interested in Russia have something very eccentric atomosphere...Maybe this is all in my mind.

Anyways, it was really fun not only to have unfamilier dishes but also to meet all different people.

Today's surprise.
When i talked with one Russian girl(of course in Japanese), i mentioned a teacher who taught me Russian 2 years ago(it was a man to man lesson). And surprisingly, she knew her before coming to Japan! It turned out that the teacher is very famous in Russia especially among people who study Japanese culture. She said she even wrote a thesis using her book. World is small!
Now i think I should appriciate that I could study Russian under that famous teacher even though i forgot most of words i learnt. When i said, "Im regretting i didnt study in earnest", she said "you can start from now". Yea, thats really true. Im not gonna skip classes from next week!
