bus

2006-05-06 19:51:34 | オーストラリア
At last I did it,,,
I missed the bus for the work this morning!!

I had never been late for work when I was in Ipswich(1 hour from City, they have unbelievably incredible bus service).

but why???
I left IH well in advance(I thought so), met Da**** and talked for a while on the way to the bus stop.

Then, i saw the bus going off....

OMG!!!!

Why? it was 11:30 on my watch. It was supposed to leave at 11:32.....
anyway, today is Suturday, which means there are bus service only every 30 minutes.I was sure I would be late more than 25 min if I caught the next bus. So I walked to Gyatt Park to catch City cat, being not sure if they have right timing service.
then,,,,I found they have 11:57 one.
Actually it came before 11:57 and arrived at North Quey at 12:07. yes i was late, but luckily my boss was out, so i was only blamed by collegues(but not seriously).
today i couldn't work as a cashier cos i have husky voice, you know. I found it is very hard to work with this voice.

since the oldies(staffs) quitted job to go back to Japan, I think I worked double compared to the new people. tired tired...
but new members are nice as well, and rather younger, so i dont have to be caring so much. I mean, they are more friendly...

and...now im sleepy, i might go to bed soon though shag fest is going on at ivor cribb. its very noisy from my room. oo

...i didnt go have a look after all.
my voice is terrible now.
Im really sleepy. but I cant sleep. I dont know why.....

giri giri

this semester, apparently i became a "giri giri girl".

I was really upset in lab cos i didnt have enough time to print out an assignment.
but finally, I submitted it. fu-.
I was running from Ih to building 9. I was really girigiri.
but (this is an excuse) i was supposed to work from 2, so i had to hand it earlier.

Today was the last day for me to work with Mi** chan and Fu**san. We started working almost the same time, like after the turn of the year. so i felt somewhat lonely.

On the way back to IH, I looked back on my life. And I thought I am lucky to be here.
these days im easy to get sentimental.
Is it because i get old? or Im dying?
Anyway, i felt Im happy to be alive.

All the stupid things i thought, all the mistakes i made today may be due to the lack of sleep.
But I dont think today was a bad day.

nightmare on anzac day

I had a bad dream.
It started like....

I got into the situation that I have to leave Australia for Japan as soon as possible(that is NOW in real time). I didnt know the reason why. maybe because my mom told me to.
There was no enough time to say goodbye to everyone. and after going back to Japan, I suddenly remembered I havent finished exams in UQ. But my mom said "oh, you can take tests here, didn't I say so?"
iwas confused. why can she say that?? I didnt attend the class in Japan at all...
I cant remember how this dream ended like.
but I remember i found Japanese TVs were quite funny, felt comfortable in kotatsu.

strangely realistic dream, isnt it??

when i analyse this, this may show how much i feel uneasy about going back to Japan. But, at the same time, part of me wants to go back(and watch TV, warm myself in a kotatsu...it isnt winter in Japan any more though).

I should have written about ANZAC DAY, but i couldnt help writing very personal stuff. sorry animal9

the rash was diagnosed to be "shingles" by a doctor.
but my back is getting better.

i left my work earlier on friday because my back terribly ached. and they gave me Saturday-off. i was sorry for that...but it was really good for me. yokatta, yokatta.

i went to Na**y-O's house on Sat and Sun for recuperation(?). It was quite good cos i could sleep well saturday night after a long sleepless(?) night. i helped cleaning for inspectation of her house. cooked katsu curry together. yummy. had a thrilling drive to the Hellensvale station. it was quite fun time(honestly).
and last night i went to house warming party near here. spent a very Japanese time. i ate tonkatsu again, which was wicked good. was fun....?

then, ive decided.
i will be stuck in my room (or library) to research and write essay(s) until finishing all.
so, please dont try to find me...

drama

2006-04-06 14:18:46 | オーストラリア
These days i spend a lot of time watching dramas.
I think i waste too much time neglecting my assignments....

I downloaded "24" and "the O.C." from DC, watching each episode a day. Both are American dramas. 24 is *o's recommendation, the OC is N*t**-o's and my sis's.
For me, 24 is a bit difficult. when i watched the first episode, i didnt think im gonna keep watching it cos it didnt make any sense to me at all. But after watching 2 and 3, i came to understand the story and now I cant stop watching it cos it's cliff-hanger.
The oc...is interesting. it's like typical "American teenager drama" i think.

When I was in Ipswich, i watched some dramas like "Lost", "desparate housewives" and "prison break"... but now I dont have TV in my room so haven't watched them for a long time.

Come to think of it, I've been loving foreign dramas from a young age. Beginning from "Full house", I really loved foreign drama of NHK like "Sabrina ,the teenager witch"(i saw it here!), "beverly hills 90210", "Roswell", "Ally McBeal" etc etc....i love "friedns" too. oh, and also i liked watching "Scrubs" with K*u chan last semester!

And it wasn't peculiar to American drama. I was sooo looking forward to watching "Betty" when i go back to my parents' house(because we have cable TV there). I think it is my mom and sis's influence and also, my junior high mate Ki**chan's.

I didn't mean to write about it this much,,,,but i couldn't stop this. TV culture is interesting...Yes Im(was) terebikko.

BTW, do you know that the"Iron Chef" is on the air here??? This is veeerrrry funny, because of the strange dubbing. Sha***(my host in Ipswich said Kaga takeshi looks weird. world's KAGA banzai.
