マテーラという場所

お久しぶりです。みなさん、お元気でしたでしょうか。
最近、英文で書くモチベーションが下がっています。
仕事でも、日常生活でも英語が役に立つ場面が少ないので
せっかく覚えていたとしても活かす場面がなくて
どんどん落ちていきます。
頭に負荷をかけないと、言葉なんて覚えないことも、
維持できないことも知っています。
ちょっと残念に思います。

さて、イタリアのマテーラというところは
イタリア南部の原始的な住居があるところです。
ガイドさんは映画のワンシーンに利用された場所だと
言っていました。皆さんは「パッションオブキリスト」という
メルギブソンか誰かが作った映画をご存知でしょうか。
キリストが処刑されたゴルゴタの丘のシーンをここで撮影したそうです。
聖書に基づいて残虐な場面がリアルに描かれているといいます。
後で観たのですが映画はちょっとグロかったです。

実際はイスラエルかどこかだったと思うのですが、
この切り立った岩の様子や雰囲気が当時のイメージに合っていたのでしょう。
ところで、最近キリスト教のことを少し本で調べてみました。
その本には旧約聖書と新約聖書で扱っているテーマが違っていることや
旧約聖書の部分がキリスト教とユダヤ教とイスラム教で共通ということが
書いてあり、興味深いことだと思いました。

少し話がそれてしまいました。




遠くの方には崖の中腹をくり貫いたような洞窟型の
住居のようなものが見えます。
この辺が映画に使われたのかもしれません。


実際、町並み自体も結構古く
一時期はゴーストタウンのように人が少なくなっていたといいます。
観光で散策した場所でも人の住んでいない
壊れかけた家々が軒を連ねている部分もありました。
また、通路兼屋根みたいな造りになっているのは面白かったと思います。




この写真に写っているのは、少しモダンな風景です。
最近では、この場所に人を住まわせる動きがあるそうです。

Vatican

Vatican is a country in Rome.
There is a huge Cathedral in front of the plaza.
It was a beginning of Janualy, so we saw a lot of christmas decoration.
Most of them represent birth of Jesus Christ.

It is said that Japanese people have no rerigion.
For example, the Buddism and Shintonism melt into our nomal life,
but most of us celebrate Christmas day as well.
After Christmas day, suddenly the christmas decoration is gone
from shops. They have to prepare for new year sale. There is no
Christmas any more. Then people pray for Shintonism God next.
So, what rerigion we have?

I knew that's real Christian custom, even after new yaer day,
they still go on celebration.
That's very reasonable, fine, wholesome.

Wing

It's been almost 11 months since I got married.
After marriage, my wife's father had 2 opelations in last Autumn
and I had to spend at the hospital for 2 weeks in last Summer.
I hesitated to have honeymoon holiday for a while.

But finally, we've done.
We went to Italy!!
I decided it suddenly, there wasn't enough time for choosing
the place and plans.
Just we selected some pacaged tour.
The tour had an agent. Several couples and a family joined the tour
and we were accompanied with the agent.

Nearly, everything was prepared, so the tour was very easy.
In my experience, preparing some tour by myself is a bit tough.
Hotel, flight, meals, anything depends on me.
If we had enough time, we'll prepare the tour by ourselfe.



We went around southern Italy.
Rome, Alberobello, Matera, Napoli, Pompei, Amarfe...
We had a lot of fun.

Sand Dune

Hello, mate!

I have been fine. How about you?
By the way, I went to Tottori Prefecture several months ago.
It's well known as the vast sand dune "鳥取砂丘".
Have you ever been there?
It's my first visit to the 鳥取砂丘.

Basicly, in Japan, the sand dune is rear thing.
If only it has been fine day.

紅葉

愛知県でもっとも標高の高い山へ行ってまいりました。
紅葉は進み、冬の足音すら聞こえてくるようでした。
