International Quilt Forum at St. Petersburg in Russia...

          

 

St. Petersburg is one of the most beautiful cities, I believe...

After visiting Mexico, I have moved to St. Petersburg in Russia to attend the first quilt forum for two days of 1st and 2nd October. I have no idea how Russian quilt has been developped but I met so many enthusiastic quilters here in Russia. Their quilt designs are so attractive and are used with vivid colors to make wonderful contrasts. I was able to see some of Russian quilts have their traditional designs.

I think every country might have its own craft technique and tradition, it is one of my pleasures to see it in some countries and memorize it in my brain...We can become friends through the quilt even we cannot communicate each other by language. Happy Quilting to all quilters in the world!

残念、あのキーホルダーゲットならず。。。

前に書いたとぼけた愛すべきキーホルダーは、買えませんでした。というより、航空会社が違うため、Mexico City空港のTerminal 2ではなく、古~~い1のほうでした。場所が変わると、まったくお土産の傾向も違っていて、普通のものばっかり。購入意欲が、減速します。そんな中で、見つけたのが、これ。猫ですよ。パッチワークのアップリケにしたいような、デザインです。手前がSugarと書かれていて、でもうひとつが、Princess。作者は、Britto、is one of the most successful artists of our time...と、タグに書かれていました。

 

後姿も可愛いのです。

 

また、シューズボックスの上の仲間が、増えちゃいました
