Zeiss Ikontaの忘れ物
それは、127フィルムタイプのZeiss Ikontaです。所謂「ベスト版」のフォーマットのZeiss Ikontaです。
6×4.5タイプフォーマットのZeiss Ikontaは「A型」。
6×6タイプフォーマットのZeiss Ikontaは「B型」。
6×9タイプフォーマットのZeiss Ikontaは「C型」。
6.5×11タイプフォーマットZeiss Ikontaは「D型」ですが、このベスト版タイプのフォーマットの「型」は聞いた事がありません・・・
型番では「520/18」です。レンズユニットにより2つのバージョンを確認しています。このレンズユニットの違いは、シャッター機構の違いでもあり、発売時期も異なる事により生じています。
「520系」ですので、レンズ自体はTessaが多いかに覚えます。
Tessarは３群４枚、「3半Tessar」と呼ばれるレンズです。レンズの開発は、パウル・ルドルフにより1902年に、エルンスト・ヴァンデルスレブの協力により開発されました。
「ホークアイ」と呼ばれレンズですが、1930年代のZEISSのカタログには「THE EAGLE OF YOUR CAMERA」とあり、「ホーク」ではなく「イーグル」になっています。
写真は、そのカタログです。左が英語版、右はフランス語版です。
表紙絵は、「イーグル アイ」を図案化したものだと判断できます。広告史の観点からも珍しい代物です。

I am called "a hawk's eye", and it is a lens, but a catalogue of ZEISS of the 1930s has it with "THE EAGLE OF YOUR CAMERA", and it is to "an eagle" not "a hawk".
A photograph is the catalogue. English version, the right are French versions the left.
I can judge that the cover picture made "an eagle eye" a design. It is the fellow who is rare from the viewpoint of history of advertisement.
