講習会

先日２週続けてメーカーによる講習会がありました。

１週目はカラーについて。

２週目はアレンジやスタイリングについて。

どちらもモデルさんに来てもらいました。

Alittle while ago we had a color company come in to
do 2 seminars for us.
First day was for Coloring
Second day was for Styling
We had models come in for both of them.

カラーはホイルを使ったりバックコームをしたり、いつもと違うカラー剤の色味と染め方を見れて新鮮でした。
For coloring, we used foils and backcombing techniques. It was very interesting because we got to see techniques we have not used before.

スタイリングではコテを使ってアレンジしたり、ちょっと変わったブローのやり方で仕上げたりしました。
For styling, we used irons to create shapes. Again we got to see
different methods of blowdrying to finish the look.

聞いたことのあるやり方でも新しい技術や薬剤を学ぶ機会の時は今でも気持ちがわくわくします。
Even if its a method we have heard of before. Being able to see the new colors and techniques in action is always exciting.

またこういう機会があったら積極的に参加していきたいと思います。
I plan to be more agressivley involved to get the most out of it next time><

７０年前のヘアドライヤー!!

今日は久しぶりの休みということで、何をしようかと思い、、、思いつかず 

googleでアイデアを探していたところ、

fortlangleyが面白い  という記事を見つけました。

さっそく行ってきました。

アンティークのshopがたくさんある

面白いアンティーク好きの自分にはたまらなく面白い

欲しいものがたくさんあったけれど、予算の都合上１つだけ購入しました。

Today is my first day off inawhile. I had no idea what to do...
so I was just browsing on google for ideas.
I saw a post by somone that Fortlangley was pretty interesting,
so i decided to check it out.
There are lots of antique stores!?
It was a fun trip for an antique lover like myself.
There were lots of interesting things but I decided to purchase just one item.

見つけました 美容師らしい  価格も＄２５と予算内です

重い まるで鉄の塊   まだ使えるらしいけど恐ろしいのでコンセントは差し込んでないですが 

I found it! somthing hairdresser like.  It was $25 aswell.
Its so heavy! Its as if its made out of all metal. Apparently its still useable but I'm alittle scared to give it a try.

フィッシュ＆チップス

こんにちは、Beach Memiです

先週末、観光客でにぎわうグランビルアイランドへ行ってきました

ランチには、グランビルアイランド脇にある売店で

フィッシュ＆チップスをオーダー

待つこと１０分その間ベンチに座ってボーっとします

ここから見るダウンタウンもかっこいい

フィッシュ＆チップスキターーーーー

がっつきすぎて、写真撮り忘れてしまいました、スミマセン

でーーーーっかいセイロに(なぜセイロ？？)たーーーぷりのポテトフライとお魚がっっ

たぶん２人１つで十分ですコレ揚げ物LOVEの人にはおすすめです！

the other week I went to a popular tourist destination, Granville island!
For lunch we went to a little store in the corner
We orderd some Fish and chips!
It was a good 10minutes of waitting, dosing off on a bench.
The view of downtown from here was pretty cool!

A biiiig basket with loaaads of fries and fish.
I think 1 order would be enough for 2 people.
I recommend the fish and chips for all the deep fry lovers

冷やし中華始めました。

こんにちはBeachのMemiです

だんだんと暖かくなって参りました

晴れの日が増えてきたので毎朝ウォーキングに勤しんでおります

そのおかげかご飯がおいしい

ヤバイ傾向です

そこで

Hello, This is Memi of Beach hair studio
It is starting to get warmer recently
Since its alot warmer, i decided to have alittle walk at the beach in the morning.
I became so hungry because of all the walking.
Thats when i had an idea!
I suddenly got a craving for...

作りました

冷やし中華

麺がなかったのでそうめんで代用しましたが、これがさっぱりして

おーーーーーーいしい

具だくさん、タレも少～し甘めにしました

また作ろっと

 I made it!!
Japanese Cold Noodles!
I didnt have normal noodles so I made it with soba noodles but
it was refreshing and sooooo good!
Lots of toppings with a slightly sweet sauce
I'm gonna make this again!

マチュピチュへ！！

先日VACATIONをいただいて

前からずーーーーーーっと行きたかった念願の

マチュピチュに

行って来ました

すごいっすごいっっすばらしすぎる

とりあえず感動

I went on vacation for a few days.
I went to Machupichu!
I have been dreaming of going there.
Soooo awsome! I was soo moved!

そして、前日にビール飲むと高山病になりやすいと言われて

１日禁酒した結果...

みごと高山病にならず

マチュピチュみながらランチでビール

サイコーでした！！

And apparently If we drink beer too much,
Its more likley to get altitude sickness.
So we didnt drink for a day and we were OK!
We had lunch while watching Machupichu
Awsome!

最近のバンクーバーはお天気に恵まれています。

お天気の良い日は、Stevestonへ自転車で行きます。

この景色に癒されますね。

Recently, Vancouver is blessed with more sun in the forecast.
I biked to Steveston, on a very beautiful day
The scenery was very touching

日曜の朝９時からは漁船で魚を売っています。

カレイ、筋子、ボタン海老などが沢山ありました。

On sundays from 9 oclock,
people start selling seafood off their fishing boats.
All kinds of seafood was for sale.

味も最高でした次回はBBQしたいと思います
They tasted awsome! Next time I would like to BBQ them

料理始めました！

 

最近、料理にはまってます。

日本で一人暮らしをしていた頃、台所を殆ど使ったことがなく、

目玉焼きすら満足に作れませんでした。

クックパッド、オレンジページ、スタッフに聞きながら週2～3日は自分1人で作っています。

美容と同じく料理も奥が深く、学ぶことが沢山あります。

上手く作れたり、次何を作ろうか考えたり、食材を買いに行くのは本当に楽しいですね。

まだまだ簡単な物ばかりですが、これからもどんどん挑戦していこうと思います

Mexico　Cancun周辺には、海以外にも見所たくさん

Cenote　鍾乳洞に水が溜まってできていて、水の透明度が凄いんです

In Mexico, Cancun, there are plently to see other then the sea.
Cenote, A pool of water in the caverns of cancun with water thats super clear.

Chichen Itza　マヤ文明後期の都市遺跡　ピラミッド下から手を叩いてご覧

昔の人の知恵ってスゴイです

People from the past were amazing!

Cozumel　フェリーで1時間程の島島の雰囲気も海も好き
Cozumel: an hour away by ferry. beautiful island aswell as beautiful sea

Tulum　マヤ最後の都市　美しい景色に恵まれた遺跡は絶景
Tulum: Mayan monument surrounded by beautiful sceneries

まだまだあるよ

マヤ文明、知れば知るほどおもしろいっっ

そこの土地、人、文化、歴史に触れるって貴重な経験ですね

最後にひとこと…

マヤ文明によると、2012年12月。何か起こるとか、起こらないとか…

To be able to have a taste of their culture, people, lands and history
is an experience worth treasuring.
