休みの日は、やる事がいっぱいです

若い頃のように遅くまで寝ているのは時間がもったいないので

通常通りの時間に起床し、行動開始です

部屋の掃除、銀行、シティホール(市役所)で雑用を済ませ

最近お気に入り『上海人家』で飲茶

春も近いという事で、お気に入りのアウトドアストア、帽子屋さんで物色

新しくできたDTの『CB2』へも行きました

最後に『BOOKOFF』で本を買い込み帰宅

ビールのみながら、のんびりうとうと

気づいたら外は真っ暗

急いで夕食のしたく

明日からまた一週間頑張ります

次の休みが楽しみですっ

ある日の出来事…

BeachのMemiです

先日、Beachの電球が２コ

ほぼ同時に切れました

頼りになるマネージャーYoshiが

颯爽と脚立にのぼり、新品に交換

あまりの早ワザにMemi,Kaeびっくり

…ウケてしまいました

すみませんっっ

開店前にこんなことやってました

先月、二週間お休みを頂き

日本に行ってきました

友達と、温泉イチゴ狩り　買い物　焼肉

そして、両親とは千葉に行ってきました

I received a 2 week break this month so
I flew back to Japan.
Hot spring with friends, strawberry picking, shopping, Yakiniku
and with my parents I went to Chiba.

今回、私の中で一番印象深いのは

　のこぎり山　

へ行ったことです

The most memorable part of my vacation was my trip to
"Nokogiriyama"(Chainsaw mountains)

沢山階段があって、足やお尻が痛くなりながら

着いた頂上はとーーーっても

Straining our thighs and legs,
we climbed many many stairs to reach the top
The view was soo beautiful!!

お刺身や焼き魚も沢山食べました
We ate lots of sashimi and grilled fish!

友達とも会えて、両親とも過ごせて

美味しい物食べて

とってもＨＡＰＰＹでした

Seeing my friends, aswell as my parents,
and eating lots of good food.
I was very HAPPY!

SAYURI IN JAPAN

先月は誕生日会をしてもらった次の日から
　　　　　　　　　　　（ありがとう）

２週間お休みを頂き

日本に一時帰国してきました

初日は実家をゆっくりと満喫し

This month, from the day after my birthday party (Thank you)
I received a 2 weeks break.
I decided to fly back to Japan for my break.
My first day back, I just relaxed at my parents house.

これは朝食

次の日からは

Misako's オーナー

みさこさんの東京のお宅にお邪魔したり

高校の時の友達、元同僚、祖父の家

カナダで出会った友達との再会

From the next day on I met up with lots of people.
I met up with Misako-san, the owner of Misako's and visited her house in Tokyo.
Also I saw my friends from high school, my ex-co workers, my grandfather and

今まで生きてきた中で味わったことのない

嬉しい楽しい

人に思われている気持ちを味わいました

ディズニーランドもサイコでした

I have never experienced this feeling before in my life.
So happy and so much fun.
I got to see how people cared for me back in Japan.
Disney land was awsome too!!

カナダに来て初めての一時帰国

三年振りに帰った日本は本当に

　　　　素敵な国でした　　　　

みんなに感謝　感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです

This trip was my first time going back to Japan since coming to Canada 3 years ago.
Japan is such a wonderful country.
I'm filled with gratitude for everyone.

Dinner with patissier Tsujiguchi Hironobu

オーナーの美砂子さんと辻口さんは友達で今回は芸能人がよく行くイタリアンレストランアピアにいて。

We copyed this blog from Tsujiguchi-san's blog.
Our owner Misako-san and Patissier Tsujiguchi-san are close friends. This time they had dinner at a celebrity hot spot italian restaurant (Apia).

おはようございます。

カナダからみさこお姉さまが来日しまして、アピアにてディナーを楽しみました。

みさこさんはカナダはバンクーバーで美容室を展開されている凄腕マダムで、海外で身体を張って生きているバイタリティーがとても好きで、こうしてたまに食事します!!

やはり海外志向が強い人間にとって、みさこさんは刺激になります。

毎回たくさんお土産頂きましてありがとうございます！

Good morning.
Misako-san came from Canada so we went out for a fun dinning at Apia.
Misako-san owns a chain of hair salons in Vancouver. She is a super talented madam who is working hard in a foreign country.
She is very lively so on occasion we meet up for dinner.
For somone who is very interested in the western world, she is a great influence.
Thank you for all the woderful gifts you always bring me.

すし祭り

MISAKOさんがおすしセットを持ってきてくれました
しかも大量

１０合の米をAKIが握りまくる

その米にNORIがノリを巻きまくる
(ちなみにシャレを言ったつもりは一切ない）

MISAKOさんとGENKI
(ここでナイスなフォローをMISAKOさんにできるかアシスタントのGENKI)
サーモン、たこ、えび、かにかま、アボカド、きゅうりなどのネタをのせーの

Misako-san brought us a whole lot of sushi ingredients.
While Aki constantly shapes the rice.
Nori wraps them with the Nori (seaweed) (no pun intended...)
Misako-san and Genki
(putting on the final touches; salmon, octopus, shrimp, imitation crab, avocado, and cucumbers!)

もう食べることしか頭にない
というより、手伝えるスペースがない残りのDavieスタッフは
すぐに食べれる状態にせっせと周りを片付け

I can only think of eating...
cant help it since there is no more space to help:(
The davie staff quickly worked together to enjoy the delicacy

そして、完成
DONE!

やっぱ、すしはうまい
Sushi is gooood!

Why did you decide to become a hairstylist?

　　　昔から髪をいじるのが好きだったので自然と美容師になっていました
I've always liked playing with hair so I naturaly became one.

Q　Vancouverを選んだきっかけは？
Why did you decide to come to Vancouver?

　　　住みやすそうな街で興味があったので選びました
I was always interested in Vancouer and it seems like such a nice palce to live.

Q　Canadaのおすすめは？
What do you recommend in Canada

　　　イングリッシュベイが綺麗、アイススケートが安い
English bay is beautiful, Ice skating is cheap.

Q　日本とカナダの違いは？
What is the difference between Canada and Japan?

　　本当に多国籍で面白い国です

　　カナダに住んでいる人々はとても優しいです
It really is a multicultural country, its very interesting.
The people in canada are all very kind.

The days are getting warmer with more sunshine in the forecast
Today, in the middle of february we held
Richmond Sayuri's Birthday Party!!!!

本人が帰ってくると飾り付けしてある部屋に

Richmond＆Beachスタッフが待ち構えて

バースディソングと共にお出迎えというサプライズ

という訳で、

勝手に部屋に侵入し、飾り付けしたことを

深くお詫びいたします　てへ

みんなでUNOしたりたわいもない会話に素敵なひとときでした

As she came home, The staff of Beach and Richmond suprised her with a decorations and a birthday song.
We apologize for breaking into your place without notice ; )
We played UNO and chatted away through out the night.
