My Sri Lanka travel diary is not finished, it is an intermission.
先日、公園へ行ったら、彼岸花がきれいに咲いていて、そういえば、おとといお彼岸だったなぁと思ったのでした。
At that day, I went to a park and saw cluster amarylis bloomed out, it was very nice, I thought that the day before yesterday was Ohigan.

ゴールの古い町を歩いた。
We took a walk in an old town of Galle.
これは、なんとショッピングセンターの中です。
すごく素敵でした！
This is inside of a shopping center!
It was very nice.
ゲストハウスのカフェに立ち寄り、ちょっと休憩しました。
We dropped in a guest house's cafe, and took a rest.

ゴールは古い城壁に囲まれた町だ。
城壁はオランダの植民地時代に建設されたそうだ。
お昼を食べた後、雨がひどくなった。
しばらくレストランで雨脚が弱くなるのを待って、歩き始めた。
Galle is an old walled city.
The wall was build Dutch colonial period.
When we took a lunch, it rained badly.
We waited in a restaurant a while, and rain became weak, we started to walk.
これは城壁に中にある監獄だ。
This is a jail in the wall.
最果ての地に来た感がすごくある、、、。
I felt that I came the farthest land...
クレージージャンパー。１０ドル払うと海に飛び込んでくれるらしい。

ゴールにはローカルバスで行った。
バスは、座席が横に５列並んでいて、通路がすごく狭い！
でも、ローカルバスは驚くほど安い。
We went to Galle by local bus.
There are 5 seats lines in a bus, so an aisle is very very narrow!
But, it is very cheap.
バスの窓からアオショウビンみたいな鳥が見えた。
From the bus window, I saw a bird.
ゴールに行くまでには、ヒッカドゥワというサーフィンで有名な街を通る。
Til Galle, we passed Hikkadwa, it is a very famous town for surfin.
ゴールに着いた。
これはゴール駅だ。
We arrived at Galle.
This is Galle station.
まずは、地元のレストランにお昼を食べに行った。
We went to a local restrant at first for lunch.
Kiritee is good!

この夏は残暑が厳しかったですね。
サルスベリの花がいつまでもきれいに良く咲いていました。そういう夏は、残暑が厳しくなると聞いたことがあります。
写真はムラサキシキブです。全部、一か月くらい前の写真です。

This summer was hot and the lingering heat of summer was terrible.
I saw a crape myrtle flower bloomed out long time, I heard that if they bloomed out long time the late summer heat is terrible.
