今月6日、Sea Shepherd の Ady Gil 号に「調査捕鯨」団の第二昭南丸が衝突→ Ady Gil 号が大破→沈没という事件が起きたあと、「調査捕鯨」団と Sea Shepherd は双方を性懲りも無く非難している。

あれだけ派手に船首が壊れている以上、Ady Gil 号は修復不能状態だろうし。
要は、曳航してもしなくても水が（高波とかで）どんどん入ってしまい、Bob Barker 号による曳航が不可能になるのは不可避だったわけで。
その意味で、「調査捕鯨」団の声明はこのような事態を最初から想定して作られていたんだろうな（苦笑）。

この映像の前半部分では、Ady Gil 号によるこの日の抗議活動を燃料不足（陸に戻る分を確保する必要があるから）で終える、みたいなことを Ady Gil 号に乗っていたメンバーが語っていた。
そのついでで冗談も飛ばしていたっぺぇ。
ま、2分あたりで LRAD の音が鳴りはじめて（第二昭南丸が接近して）からはそんな余裕は無かったみたいだが・・・。
なんだろうな。
この映像から窺えるのは、Ady Gil 号のメンバーが「調査捕鯨」団の無茶苦茶さを甘く見ていたことなんだよな。
俺の推測になるけど、第二昭南丸が右舷に Ady Gil 号を見ている以上回避義務を果たしてくれる、と Ady Gil 号のメンバーが思いこんでいた節があったのかも。
だとしても、「調査捕鯨」団が主張するように Ady Gil 号が変な動きをしてたのが事故の原因、という主張は正直強引すぎる。
そんなに「調査捕鯨」団は偉いのか？
なんてことをやってる中で、Ady Gil 号が船籍を置いてるニュージーランドの政府は（馬鹿げてることに）日本の「調査捕鯨」を放置することにした模様。
