The big earthquake in Taiwan.

I received a message from my Taiwanese friend.

I'm very sad to read his story.

 

A powerful earthquake struck in the early hours of Feb. 6 in Kaoshiong (高雄).

As this day was the Lunar New Year’s Eve many Taiwanese had returned to their hometowns to celebrate the holiday with the customary family dinner.

Though the epicenter of the quake was in Kaoshiong, the worst affected city was Tainan, most likely due to soil liquefaction.

Many buildings tilted and were damaged, and one building collapsed causing the death of 116 people.

One of my customers in Tainan, Mr. Liu , lived in this building.

The day of the quake I contacted his colleagues but nobody had heard from him. On the 7th day after the quake he and his wife and two children were found dead.

A student from my daughter’s school who had returned to her grandmother’s home in Tainan from Taipei was also found killed alongside her grandmother and cousin.

This Lunar New Year was a sad one for Taiwan.

After the earthquake we received help from the Japanese government in the form of monetary and material donations.

Japanese Search and rescue teams arrived in Tainan the day after the quake.

Thank you, Mr. Isa and all of your friends would like to help but because the disaster was not widespread we can manage on our own.

VOLCANIC EXPLOSIONS

Recently in Japan there are a lot of volcanic explosions.

Ogasawara Nishinoshima has grown 13 times bigger in just 18 months thanks to volcanic eruptions.

The good news is that the island will widen the national land of Japan.

It is interesting that we can see the birth of the island.

The bad news is.

Last year, Mt. Ontake erupted in Nagano prefecture, 57 hikers died, and 6 hikers are still missing.

This month, volcanic gases spewed from Hakone Yama’s Owakudani area.

And, yesterday Mt. Shindake in Kuchinoerabu island erupted in Kagoshima prefecture.

I am worried about a large earthquake or the like.

吉祥寺の煙霧

3月10日の吉祥寺の煙霧、風が強く地表の砂埃が舞い上がって出来るそうです。

中国から来た黄砂かと思いました。

昼間の1時半頃です。

 

 

 

台風

昨日の台風で屋上の物置が倒壊。

物置の扉が歪んで直すのも大変だし、又台風で倒れる事もあるので処分することにしたが、大きくて下に降ろす事が出来ない。

これから気長にばらして持っていこうと思う。　これも一苦労だ。

11年になるが、今まで台風でも地震でも倒れた事が無かったが、昨日の台風の風が強烈であった事を物語っている。

三鷹の水道水について

金町浄水場で放射性ヨウ素が検出された件で、三鷹市のホームページに掲載されたものを参考の為、転載します。

日本の水道水は安全なものと昔から思って来ましたが、原発事故により雨水に放射線物質が混じり水道水にも影響が出て来たという事でしょうか。

政府、国、電力会社が全国の原発に関して最大限の見直しをして福島原発の二の舞にならない様に努力をしてもらいたい。

出来れば他の方法の発電を模索した方が良いかもしれませんね。

東京都による水道水の放射能測定結果について

3月23日午後2時過ぎに、東京都水道局より、放射性ヨウ素の測定結果につきまして、乳児による水道水の摂取を控えるように発表されました。
なお、東京都水道局によれば、この数値は、長期にわたり摂取した場合の健康影響を考慮して設定されたものであり、代替となる飲用水が確保できない場合には、摂取しても差し支えないとしています。
都では今後も、濃度の変動を引き続き監視し、公表していくとのことです。

三鷹市の水道水について説明します

三鷹市の水道水の構成の約60パーセントは三鷹市の深井戸で汲み上げた水で、そのほかの大半が今回の東京都の調査で放射性ヨウ素が検出されなかった朝霞浄水場系の水です。ここに、金町浄水場系の水が、ごく少量含まれています。

東京都によれば、金町浄水場系の水は最大でも全体の6パーセント程度ということであり、三鷹市の水道水の約94パーセントは金町浄水場系以外の水です。

したがって、三鷹市の水道水が、食品衛生法に基づく乳児の飲用に関する指標値を超えている可能性は極めて低いと考えられます。

しかしながら、東京都水道局では、乳児による水道水の摂取を控えるようにと要請しています。
市販のペットボトル入りの飲料水は、乳児のいる家庭で、乳児の飲用や粉ミルクを溶かすためなど、必要としているかたがいらっしゃいますので、乳児以外が使用するための買いだめは、ぜひ控えていただきますようお願いします。

1歳未満の乳児がいるご家庭にペットボトルの飲料水を配布します

3月23日午後9時過ぎに、東京都水道局より、今回対象となった地域で1歳未満の乳児がいる家庭に対して、550ミリリットル入りのペットボトルの飲料水を24万本、乳児1人あたり3本提供すると発表がありました。
今後、対象地域の区市を通じて各家庭に配布するとのことですので、三鷹市としても早期に、確実にお届けできるよう最大限取り組んでまいります。

 The unclear power station No.1 is seems to controlled,and the temperature is getting down,We are so wish,all the troubles of unclear power sations can be sloved soon ,let the rescuing in the disaster area can be smoothly,because still have about 9000 person are missing,and I am so wish all of them are still alive and safety.

        This week,in Taiwan all of the places ( including super-markets and TV programs and stations and night markets and schools and Red Cross and Religion Group and Garvernment) are doing the raising  funds for Japan,we are so wish the Japan can be restored.

        I would like to tell you a good news that my son Hsi chian tell me that he wants to donate NTD10000- (Japan Yen27000-) for help Japan,so I will also do the same amount for my daughter ~ Mizuka chian to help Japan.

        These days I saw many forign country people are " escape " from Japan,I do not thing their motion is right,especially in Japan has a very difficult trouble right now,really not " War in Japan",they must thinking~~~ so may countries in the earth,why they choosed and stayed in Japan before,I think all of them are including emigrant and for  business and China's worker and ambassador and students......,I guess the reason is developed and beautiful in Japan, but they had made a so great scare to all countries' image,it will not good for your Cconomy,even,because of the " nuclear ",let all countries' aids and supporter in disaster leaving one after one.They earned money from Japan and earned money in Japan,it's should be repay Japan's kindness,even we saw many China people did not get the air-ticket,then very angry and sclod at airport,their class is very lowest.Now,so many bodies dare not to Japan,I do an announcment that I will go to Japan in my son's summer vaction,using my action to support Japan.     

 

東日本大震災

昨日Yuさんから宮城の早坂さんの消息が判り、無事だったとの喜びの電話が有りました。

大変良かったと思います。

しかし早坂さんの周りの店にも食料が無いそうで、Yuさんは台湾から食料を送るそうです。

物流が混乱している時でも有り、無事に早く着く事を祈るばかりです。

Yuさんからのメッセージ、中国語で「加油」は頑張れと言う意味です。

東日本大地震

日本史上最悪の大災害で有る。

各国の人達が大変心配してくれています。

私の台湾の友人である、Mr.Yuがメールをくれまして、足りないものなど有った送りますと、心配して親切なメールを貰いました。

また彼は日本に対して寄付金をしたそうです【NTD（ニュー台湾ドル）100,000.- 日本円で約270,000円】、大変有りがたい事です。

そして彼がとても心配している人が居ます、彼は以前日本無線㈱に研修に来ていました。その時のトレーニングセンターの先生で早坂稔さんが宮城県の海側に住んでいるそうで、安否が判らないと心配しています。

もしこのブログを見ている人の中に、早坂さんの消息が分かる人が居たら、コメント下さい。

Very sad to see this great earthquake,you know~~ I am so love Japan,and I have many Japanese friends,so I fell very sad and nervouse,my mind is very bad mood,sometimes the tears is in my eyes.

       From yesterday,TW's TV news always reportting the live news about the earthquake all the times without another news,my Parents are also very care about you and my all Japanese friends in Japan,these days I called to many Japanese friends including JRC's engineers and sales,all of them are safe,but one of a JRC's teacher ( Trainning center) who had been retaird then back to his hometown~~~Miyagi whose name is Mr.Hayasaka, I can not contact with him,because this area is the most serious,I am very worry about him,I am so wish he is safe and fine.

     The condition is become very seriouse,because the nuclear power station was explode this afternoon,I am so wish,the aftershock will not happen again and the dead & harm amount don't increase,and all the missing persons can be find soon and all are safety.

    Monday I will donate NTD100,000- ( Japan Yen270000-) through foundation to Japan for your recuperation.Now all of the foods and many things are shortage in all super-market,if you and Yasitoshi san need any help,please feel free to tell me,I will send to you from Taiwan.

防災の日

今日は小学校で防災訓練が有り、一年生になった孫の学校に私が孫を引き取りに行って来ました。

孫の引き渡しの時にあまりスムーズ行かなかったように思う。
実際の時は混乱して上手く行くのかなと云うのが実感でした。
