卅有二年春正月壬子朔甲寅。立皇子神渟名川耳尊爲皇太子。
七十有六年春三月甲午朔甲辰。天皇崩于橿原宮。時年一百廿七歳。明年秋九月乙卯朔丙寅。葬畝傍山東北陵。
≪英訳≫
In the spring of the thirty-second year, on the third day of the first month, the imperial son, named Kamununakawamimi no Mikoto, was designated as the Crown Prince.
In the spring of the seventy-sixth year, on the eleventh day of the third month, the Emperor passed away at Kashihara Palace, reaching the age of one hundred and twenty-seven.
The following autumn, on the twelfth day of the ninth month, the Emperor was laid to rest in the mausoleum to the northeast of Unebiyama.
≪この英文の和訳≫
三十二年の春、一月三日に、神淳名川耳尊（カムヌナカワミミノミコト）皇子を立てて、皇太子に任じられました。
七十六年の春、三月十一日、天皇は橿原宮（かしはらのみや）で崩御（ほうぎょ）されました。その時の年齢は百二十七歳でした。
翌年の秋、九月十二日に、天皇は畝傍山の東北にある陵（うねびやまのうしとらのすみのみささぎ）に葬られました。
