We can walk the earth like gods

“The Great Spirit is within you all and, though you have risen and ascended through all forms of evolution and there is within each one of you a trace of your animal ancestry, which is part of your heredity, greater than all those things are the powers of the Great Spirit within you which, if you would but allow them to function and to express themselves, would enable you to walk the earth like gods.”

What exactly are the “powers of the Great Spirit” (power of god, power of the spirit), mentioned here? Let’s take a look at Silver Birch’s comments, focusing on this power of the spirit.
“We come to reveal that there is a large and wondrous life of the spirit which beats restlessly and surges, so that the barriers can be broken down, so that the vast power of the spirit, that energizing, dynamic, vital, life-giving force, can be placed at the disposal of all. It has inspired many in days gone by; it can inspire and will inspire many again.”
“To all those, the power of the spirit, invisible thought it may be, can prove that it is the abiding reality which will comfort them, inspire them, cherish them and lead them so that all who need the guidance shall receive it.”
“It is the power of the spirit that we offer, the power of the spirit which can triumph over every difficulty, conquer every obstacle and reveal the light of truth, wisdom and understanding and enable the children of the Great Spirit to build systems of enduring peace.”

Divinity (spirituality), power of the spirit (power of god), and spiritual providence (natural laws). Repeatedly we encounter these terms in Silver Birch series, and they are simply different expressions of god’s love, and the will of the Great Spirit; the most suitable term is chosen for the specific purpose on each case of manifestation.

Then how do we express and activate this “latent divinity”and “inherent power of the spirit” that we possess? Again, the guiding words are found in Silver Birch’s book.
“If you live in harmony with these natural laws, you will derive the supreme benefits that come in health, well-being, spiritual radiance and mental excellence because you will be expressing some of that latent divinity within you.”

As long as we live in harmony with the natural providence (natural laws, spiritual providence), we are expressing the latent divinity and the power of the spirit.
In other words, this “living in harmony with the natural providence” means making use of the spiritual providence in our daily lives. Making sure that our spirit is the master, and body is the servant of the spirit. Practicing altruistic love (spreading the spiritual truth). Accepting ordeals and sufferings. These are specific examples of the daily practice and applications that will maintain our lives in tune with the natural laws.
All of us originally possess the “storehouse of the great power,” namely the greatest spirit power in the universe, but our lack of knowledge and disbelief in the spiritual realities prevent us from realizing our “real selves” (the spirit), therefore, we simply do not know how to solidly activate and express this great power of the spirit.
It is quite natural. Spiritually ignorant individuals, unaware of their “real selves”, cannot maintain their spirit as the master of their body, thus they cannot have their lives in harmony with “god’s laws (natural laws).” Needless to say, they are also unaware of the guidance from their spirit guard and guides.

One thing I must emphasize here, is that when you encounter various events that are beyond your knowledge and handling ability, counter the situation with faith in the providence. Doing so will also naturally lead you to a “life in harmony with the providence.”
Courageously stand and face ordeals, difficulties and setbacks, with your solid belief (faith) in Silver Birch’s teachings. Firmly believe his words on the true meaning of ordeals, his encouragements, the attitude that he demonstrates, and the spiritual promises. This is how we “live in harmony with the spiritual providence.” In this manner we surmount the ordeals, and eventually attain spiritual growth, the ultimate purpose of life on earth.
“It says in the book called the Bible, ‘Add to your faith knowledge.’ I say, ‘Add to your knowledge faith.’”

In the aforementioned messages by Silver Birch we saw specific example cases of how the power of the spirit operate and function.
Let us be in harmony with the spiritual providence, have faith in it, and apply it in our daily lives, so we too can walk the earth like gods (evolved spirits).

Silver Birch continues to influence us, and strives to help us today

“I am not a Red Indian. I am using the astral body of a Red Indian because this particular one had many psychic gifts on earth and therefore became available for me when I was asked to return and engage on this mission. My life on earth goes back as an individual much further than the Red Indian I use to speak to you.
He is just as much my medium as this medium is mine, too. It is not possible for people like myself, who left your world many hundreds of years ago and have achieved a certain spiritual status, to reach you and communicate on your level where the vibrations are entirely different. I had to have what in your world would be a transformer, someone through whom the vibrations can be stepped up or slowed down so that I can achieve communication on your level.”

I wanted you to feel that I was near you, that whatever qualities I might possess they did not prevent me from enjoying a close personal touch with you, that I was interested in your problems and your difficulties and ready to give you personal help and guidance if I could.
Remember I am not only a teacher, seeking to teach eternal truths and reveal the powers of the spirit; I am also the friend of each one of you, for I love you dearly and strive always to help you with all the strengths and power that I possess. Come to me always with your difficulties, no matter what they be. If I can help you, I will do so. If I cannot, I will strive to give you strength to bear whatever cross you may be called upon to carry.”

When in need of creating physical phenomena (materialization) on earth for some specific purposes, highly evolved spirits use recently deceased spirits in the astral sphere, as their mediums. The vibrations in the astral sphere and the earth are similar, so the occupants of the astral sphere are better suited for producing physical phenomena (materialization), compared to more advanced spirits.
In his quote at the top, Silver Birch explains how he (the shining spirit body) is not a Native Indian. He used the astral body of the Native Indian, through which he took control of the physical body (vocal cords) of his medium, Maurice Barbanell. This is how Silver Birch choose “voice,” as the device to deliver the spirit transmission to earth.
In order to express the wills and thoughts from the spirit world, in ways that can be recognized by the five physical senses, physical body with form is a mandatory factor.

On the other hand, when two spirits directly interact with each other, they use intuitive insights called inspiration (divine response). Here, there is no need for slowing down of the vibrations in order to direct physical phenomena (materialization). This type of spirit to spirit interactions are possible, because human beings are also actually spiritual beings. Spirit to spirit interactions require no physical phenomena (materialization), for which the vibrations needs slowing down, since there is no need to appeal to the five physical senses. No need for mediums here. So, we pray alone; prayers do not call for intermediation (mediums).
Although we mostly interact with the parts of the spirit world that corresponds our own spirituality, we all have inherent divinity, originating from the God’s divided soul; and the vibrations from this innermost and divine part of our soul will reach and attune with highly evolved spirits.

Silver Birch tells us: “I wanted you to feel that I was near you, that whatever qualities I might possess they did not prevent me from enjoying a close personal touch with you.” Silver Birch is not just someone from the past, who had communicated with us fifty years ago through Maurice Barbanell. He is still a very lively being. As a member of the band of enlightened spirits, united with the purpose of spreading the spiritual truths on earth, he still continues to work to influence us, help us, and guide us, today.

The enormous volume of the already received spirit world transmissions are now available in prints, allowing us to obtain the spiritual knowledge through these books. Therefore today, special cases of materialized phenomena from the enlightened spirits, using the body of specific mediums in the astral and physical spheres, including automatic writing and spirit transmission, are no longer necessary. The status of human evolution has not reached the level of spirituality demonstrated in these spirit transmissions.
We are now at a stage where we directly read the already transmitted spiritual providence. Obtained knowledge is applied and practiced in our daily lives, with the help of the spirit guard and guides, who give us inspiration, guidance and protection. By fortifying our belief (faith) in the providence, we will attain more and more of the wisdom and enlightenment from the spirit world’s treasure house, through intuitive insights (inspirations). We are in the era of direct communication between spirits, and intermediations by special mediums have become obsolete. This is why Silver Birch tells us to directly “come to me always with your difficulties.”

Through the years of studying the teachings transmitted through him, maybe we have unconsciously deified Silver Birch too much. Similar to the case of “Jesus of Nazareth” in Christianity, we may have drove Silver Birch away from ourselves to some faraway being, far beyond our personal reach and interaction.
Mainly responsible for this situation could be the bias and prejudice that many of us unconsciously hold, that as a highly evolved, glistening spirit in the divine world, Silver Birch is unable to directly interact (communicate) with us on earth, due to the large gap in spirituality and vibrations. But we must remember the fact that Silver Birch was already a glistening being from the divine world, at the time of the London home circle sittings.

“But it is possible for those in the spiritually superior spheres to communicate with those in the lower ones. The method of communication is mind to mind. We do not speak, because we do not have the physical apparatus for producing voices. It is a communication of thought to thought.”

We love and honor Silver Birch, from the bottom of our hearts, as we love and honor our father!
Earth is like a kindergarten, and the spirit world is the adult world.
Each of us human being on earth are toddlers, alone, scared and unsure of where we are headed. Us kindergarten kids plod along our paths, uncertain, anxious and weeping.
Once we have confirmed the truth through rigorous pursuit, and attained connection with Silver Birch, let us become honest, candid children, with utmost trust and belief on Silver Birch, and his words quoted at the top.
Let Silver Birch, an adult spirit, hold our hands and show us the way.

「Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks a fish, will he give him a serpent?
