「Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing」（邦題：慕情）は、1955年のアメリカ映画です。

監督は、ヘンリー・キング。

出演はジェニファー・ジョーンズとウィリアム・ホールデン。

ベルギー人と中国人の血を引く女性医師ハン・スーインの同名の自伝的小説を映画化した作品です。

今回は、その主題歌「「Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing」を取り上げました。

第28回アカデミー賞歌曲賞を受賞。

70年前の曲ですが、今も心に響くメロデイラインは、不滅ですね。

沢山の歌手がカバーしていますが、情感豊かに歌い上げるマットモンローが1番好きです。
