Alan Baker(right) is based in Swarthmore, PA, U.S.A. and represents Shogi Club in the city. He is associate professor in philosophy at Swarthmore College.

George Fernandez(left) is based in Washington D.C., U.S.A. and has been one of the strongest Shogi players in U.S.A. for more than two decades.

The game presented here was fought between them in the 2nd round of final round of U.S. Shogi Championship 2014.
