鎌ケ谷市民祭り・相馬野馬追の騎馬武者行列
Kamagaya Civic Festival, Soma Nomaoi Mounted Samurai's Procession

騎馬武者行列は、午後1時に貝柄山公園で出陣式を行い、新鎌ヶ谷駅南側のロータリー近くまで、約1.5㎞を歩きました。
この日は天気も良く、私は下の地図の①～④までの4箇所で、追っかけ写真撮影に挑戦しました。
The procession had a ceremony at 1:00 PM at Kaigara-yama Park and walked about 1.5 km to near the roundabout on the south side of Shin-kamagaya Station.
The weather was so nice and I tried to chase them and take photos at four points, from ① to ④ on the following map.

=warrior in the old days in Japan

相馬の騎馬は2013年から歴史上の縁で鎌ヶ谷市民祭りに参加してきましたが、今回はコロナの影響で5年ぶりの参加です。
The Soma horses have a deep relationship with Kamagaya throughout history. So they have been participating in the civic festival since 2013.
This was their first participation in five years due to COVID-19.

①鎌ヶ谷市貝柄山公園/ Kaigara-yama Park

↓貝柄山公園の南口に向かう東中沢ふれあい緑道:
道路わきの細い小川に鯉まで泳いでいて、癒されます。
Higashi-nakazawa Fureai Ryokudo to the south entrance of Kaigara-yama Park:
It is a pleasant road with carp swimming in a narrow stream beside the road.

鎌ケ谷と相馬の関係：
伝説では、相馬野馬追は「相馬氏の祖である平将門が、小金原に野馬を放ち、敵と見立ててこれを追ったことに始まる」とされています。
鎌ケ谷は、昔、小金原と呼ばれていた地にあります。
鎌倉時代、下総守護千葉常胤（つねたね）(1118-1201)の次男師常（もろつね）(1139-1205)が相続して「相馬」を名乗り、鎌ヶ谷の北部を含む下総の国相馬郡を支配していました。その後に師常が本拠地を福島県の行方（なめかた）郡（現在の南相馬市）に移したということです。

The relationship between Kamagaya and Soma:
The legend is saying that "It began when the founder of the Soma clan, Taira no Masakado, released wild horses in Koganehara, regarded them as enemies, and pursued them."
Kamagaya is located in what used to be called Koganehara.
During the Kamakura period, Morotsune, the second son of Tsunetane Chiba, the governor of Shimousa, inherited the family name "Soma" and ruled Soma County in Shimousa Province, including the northern part of Kamagaya.
It is said that Morotsune later moved his base to Namekata County (present-day Minami-soma City) in Fukushima Prefecture.

将門塚は、東京都千代田区大手町の三井物産の隣にあります。
なぜ、このようなビル群の中に小さな首塚があるのでしょう。
実は、明治維新以降、利便性が高い都心の一等地ということもあり、何度も移転の計画が立てられたという事です。
しかし、計画を立てたり、工事を始めようとするたびに、人が死ぬなどの大きな事故が起きたという話です。

Masakado Zuka, a burial mound, a grave of his head, is located next to Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
Why is a small grave in a forest of buildings like this?
As a matter of fact, since the Meiji Restoration, this place has been a prime location in the city center with high convenience, so many plans were made to move the tomb.
However, it is said that every time they planned or tried to start construction, a big accident occurred.
