Hebrews 9:22

Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are purified by blood according to the law, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

In His humanity Christ accomplished redemption through His death. Christ had to die in order to fulfill God's judicial requirement. Therefore, Christ's redemption is a judicial redemption, and it was accomplished in His humanity through His death according to God's judicial requirement, that is, according to the requirement of God's righteous law.
