イワアカバナ

イワアカバナ(岩赤葉菜)はアカネさん科の花で,北海道から九州,東アジアに分布し,日当たりの良い山野の湿地に自生する多年生草本です.学名はEpilobium amurensis Hausskn.subsp.cephalostigma(Hausskn.)C.J. Chne.Hock et Ravinで,epilobiumが epi(上)とlobos(さや)の2語よりなり,長いさや(子房)の上に花が咲くこと,amurensis(シベリアのアムール地方の),　cephalostigma(柱頭が頭状の)のことから,柱頭が頭状の,アムール地方の,長いさや(子房)の上に花が咲く植物の意.和名は岩の上に咲くアカバナのこと.花期は8月,場所は伊吹山山頂部.

I think so.
Do you know differrent of the Akabana and　the Iwaakaban？　
That answer is the shape of stigma.

I don't know the difference of the Akabana and the Iwaakabana.
The difference of the shape of stigma is very interesting,
so would you please teach me ?

At first,the stigma is a technical term of botanical science.It means the top parts of pistil.The iwaakabana has a globe shape of the pistil, but the akabana has a club shape of it. We can find this differnce with ease.
